He speaks in a soft, sweet manner but has a long tongue and a formidable appearance. His complexion is smoky, his face fierce and shining, a terrifying form.

नं नं नं नग्नभूषं प्रणमत सततं भैरवं क्षेत्रपालम्।
He is adorned with a garland of skulls, with uncontrolled eyes like copper. His form is terrifying. He is unclad, adorned with the symbols of the naked, and should always be revered as the protector of sacred grounds.

He moves with the speed of the wind and is compassionate to the humble. He is the essence of Brahman, supreme. With a sword in hand, he has the power to destroy the three worlds. His form is sharp and he possesses three eyes.
