'The one with lotus-like eyes, the supremely pure.'

शङ्ख चक्रधर चिन्मय रूपं
'The bearer of the conch (Shankha) and discus (Chakra), the embodiment of pure consciousness.'

अम्बुजोद्भव विनुतं अगणित गुण नामं
'The one praised by Brahma (who was born from a lotus), the one with countless virtues and names.'

भक्त पोषक श्री पुरन्दर विठ्ठलं
'The nourisher of devotees, Shri Purandara Vittala (a form of Lord Vishnu worshipped in Maharashtra).'

Each verse praises different attributes and qualities of the divine, specifically Lord Venkateswara, a form of Lord Vishnu. The repetition of 'One who resides in Venkatachala, the resident of Vaikuntha' emphasizes the divine abode and the sanctity of the deity's presence in both earthly and heavenly realms.
