Sri Chakra is connected to Lalita Devi, Tripurasundari who is Parvathy Devi.
Sri Chakra is a graphical representation of Devi's court.
She is seated on a cot in its middle.
This point is called Bindu.
In the three-dimensional Meru, Bindu is the topmost point.
Her cot is born by Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, and Ishana.
They are its four legs.
Brahma in the North-East.
Vishnu in the South-East.
Rudra in the South-West.
Ishana in the North-West.
Brahma is the God of creation.
Vishnu is the God of maintenance.
Rudra is the God of elimination.
Who is Ishana?
After the elimination of the universe, there is a period when there is nothing.
The duration of this period is 4,32 billion years.
During their period the universe as it was before the elimination is shrunk into a micro form and preserved.
The next universe has to come out of this.
Ishana is the God of this state.
The plank of her cot is Sadashiva.
Sadashiva is the God of anugraha.
Anugraha is the state transcending these four.
Together they are called pancha krityas.
Srishti, Palana, Samhara, Tirodhana, and Anugraha.
Devi is in command of all these five and she is engaged in all these five.
That's why she is called Panchakritya parayana.
She expresses herself through these five acts.
She is also called Panchapretasanaseena.
That means she is the energy in these five acts.
If she separated herself from these five Gods, then they are just dead bodies, pancha pretas.
Only when she infuses herself into these five Gods, they are able to act.
Devi is the dominating part in this Male-Female combination.
Male is inert and female is active.
Only the combination of Male-Female works.
This is why it is insisted that the husband and wife should do everything together, particularly religious things, and spiritual things.
Then only they work.
