Kartikeya Prajna Vivardhana Stotram for Intelligence

योगीश्वरो महासेनः कार्तिकेयोऽग्निनन्दनः।
स्कन्दः कुमारः सेनानीः स्वामिशङ्करसंभवः॥

This verse describes Lord Kartikeya as the supreme yogi and the commander of divine armies. He is known as the beloved son of Agni and is referred to as Skanda and Kumara. He is the divine general, born from Lord Shiva.

Lord Kartikeya, the son of Ganga, is depicted as wearing a golden crown and being eternally celibate. Known as Shikhidhvaja, the peacock-bannered god, he defeated the demon Taraka and is the beloved son of Uma with six faces.

He is the ocean of the divine word, perfect in wisdom, and the essence of Saraswati. Known as Guha, the hidden one, Sanatkumara, the eternal youth, grants both worldly pleasures and liberation.

Born of divine power, Kartikeya precedes the leader of the Ganas. He creates the path to liberation and authors all sacred scriptures, manifesting desired goals.
