In addition to this, millions of vanaras also took birth from the bodies of Deva yonis such as Gandharvis, Apsaras, and Nagakanyas. They were all very strong. They could fight with their nails and teeth. They could use all kinds of weapons. They were good at throwing huge rocks at their enemies. Now, we will move on to the 18th sarga of the Bala Kanda of Valmiki Ramayana.
The Ashwamedha yaga of Dasaratha was successfully completed.
The invoked Devatas, kinds, and Sages returned to their own places.
Dasharatha also along with his wives returned to his palace.
As you would remember, the yaga was being held on the banks of river Sarayu.
Rishyashringa also returned along with his wife Shanta went back.
Dasharatha, as a sign of respect accompanied him till some distance.
Six ritus went by.
On the 12th month, which was Chaitra masa Shukla paksha navami Devi Kausalya gave birth to Sri Ramji.
At the time of birth, the lagna was Karka and the nakshatra was Punarvasu.
If you look at the planetary positions in Sri Ramji' horoscope, five planets, Sury, Mangala, Brihaspati, Sukra, and Sani were exalted.
Where was Budha?
Surya's sign of exaltation is Mesha.
Chaitra masa means Surya is in Mesha.
Budha is always near Surya.
Budha's sign of exaltation is Meena, just one Rasi behind Mesha.
We can presume that even Budha is powerful
Chandra and Brihaspati were together in the lagna.
Even is one planet is in exaltation, it will take care of all problems in life.
If two planets are exalted, he will be the chief of an area within a kingdom.
If three planets are exalted, he will become a king.
If four planets are exalted, he will become an emperor.
If five planets are exalted, he will become Lokanayaka, leader of the whole world.
Here five planets, Surya, Mangala, Guru, Sukra and Sani are exalted.
Individually also if you see, when Surya is exalted, it indicates that he will command an army.
When Mangala is exalted, it means that he will be a king in the forest also, which of course he was, in Dandakranya.
Guru and Sukra are exalted,Sri Ramji will be wealthy.
Shani's exaltation also points towards being a powerful king.
The result of the combination of Chandra and Guru is that he will have good friends, he will be humble.
Born in Chaitra masa, his words will be kind and pleasant.
He will be self confident.
He will enjoy comforts in life.
Born on Navami, he will be famous, he will not forget his enemies, meaning he will defeat them for sure, he will be a scholar, he will attract everyone.
The result of taking birth in Punarvasu nakshatra is that, he will be tolerant, and he can be pleased very easily.
Sri Ramji was born in the fourth charana of Punarvasu.
That means he is handsome, attractive, righteous and wealthy.
Karka lagna in which both Guru and Chadra are there, the result is that he would be wealthy and will have all kinds of comforts.
When lagna has Brihaspati in it, the whole world will bow before him, he will have poetic skills, liking for music, he will be clean, will be served by a lot of people, and he likes to give rather than take.
Even Sri Ramji's color is indicated in his horoscope.

After that, Bharata was born in Meena lagna and Pushya Nakshatra.
After that Lakshmana and Shatrughna were born in Karka lagna and Ashlesha Nakshatra.
When they took birth, Gandharvas sang in Swargaloka, Apsaras danced.
There was a shower of divine flowers from the sky.
There were celebrations all over Ayodhya.
Dasharatha distributed gifts and performed charities.
After 11 days passed, Sage Vasishta performed their naming ceremony, the namakarna samskara.
All the other samskaras were held from time to time.
They learned the Vedas and became adept all kinds fighting and warfare.
From the childhood itself, Lakshmana became very close to Sri Ramji.
Shatrughna became very close to Bharata.
Sri Ramji was so close to Lakshmana that he could not get sleep if Lakshmana was around.
He would not eat anything without giving to Lakshmana first.
Whenever Sri Ramji went on hunting, Lakshmana used to guard his back.
Same was the case with Bharata - Shatrughna pair also.
All four grew up us well-learned, wise, well-behaved, and brave princes.
Dasharatha used to get very happy whenever he saw his sons.
