आरेऽसावस्मदस्तु हेतिर्देवासो असत्।
आरे अश्मा यमस्यथ ॥१॥
सखासावस्मभ्यमस्तु रातिः सखेन्द्रो भगः ।
सविता चित्रराधाः ॥२॥
यूयं नः प्रवतो नपान् मरुतः सूर्यत्वचसः ।
शर्म यच्छथ सप्रथाः ॥३॥
सुषूदत मृडत मृडया नस्तनूभ्यो ।
मयस्तोकेभ्यस्कृधि ॥४॥

May that weapon stay away from us. May the Devas keep it away. May the stone stay away from Yama. May that friend bring us wealth. May Indra be our fortune. May Savita grant bright gifts. O Maruts, sons of Pravati, with the glow of the Sun, grant us shelter and spread it well. Be pleased, be kind, and bless our bodies. Grant joy to our children.
