You must have definitely heard the story of Lord Rama, the Ramayana.

Just to make it fresh in your memory.

Our dear Lord Rama, Seetha Devi, and the Lord’s brother Lakshmana, they were living in the forest.

Seetha Devi saw a golden deer, very cute golden deer.

She wanted to have that.

She told her husband, Lord Rama.

He set out to get the deer for her.

And told Lakshmana to take care of her.

That golden deer was a demon called Mareecha whom the demon king Ravana had sent.

After some time, they heard cries in Lord Rama’s voice as if he was injured.

It was in fact Mareecha faking the Lord’s voice.

When they heard this, Seetha Devi got really worried.

She asked Lakshmana to go and see what happened to the Lord.

He said: no, the Lord has told me not to move from here.

But she insisted.

He had to go.

At that time, Ravana came and abducted Seetha Devi.

You must be knowing this.

Now, Lord Rama is Mahavishnu himself.

Seetha Devi is Mahalakshmi herself.

Lashmana is Adi Shesha, the serpent God.

They are all-knowing, all-powerful.

Is it that the lord did not know that the golden deer was a demon who had come in disguise?

No.

Is it that Seetha Devi did not know?

No, she knew.

Is it that she really wanted that golden deer?

She is the goddess of all the wealth in the entire universe.

She can create a thousand golden deers just like that if she wants.

But then why did this happen?

They are teaching us something.

They are acting out a drama to teach us something.

What is it?

A golden deer, shouldn’t you think, is it really possible that there can be a golden deer?

This is the first time they are seeing a golden deer.

If there is a golden deer, then its parents should also be golden.

There should be an entire species of golden deers.

Otherwise, how can a golden deer be born?

But nobody has ever seen a golden deer before, it is not mentioned anywhere.

So, they did not think whether a golden deer is possible!

They are acting as if they did not think.

So, what is it that they are teaching us by playing out this drama?

Think before you leap.

Always think before you leap.

When you grow up, you will come across so many such things.

For example: someone will come and tell you, you invest 1,000 rupees and buy this product.

Then make four others also to buy this product, your friends, relatives.

Then in some time, you will get lacs of rupees every month, just sitting at home.

Think, is it really possible?

You know mathematics, you know the principle of exponents.

If one person sells to four persons and it continues like that even for as little as seventeen levels.

You know what?

There would have 1,700 crores of members in this scheme.

Almost three times the world population.

It doesn’t seem to be possible, right?

That all the people of the world will be part of this scheme.

If everybody is part of the scheme, then where will everyone get lacs every month from?

The chain will end after a few levels.

It will collapse.

Only if there are new people joining and paying, the earlier ones will get money.

See, how they are trying to fool you.

This is how you should think before getting into anything or the result will be bad.

You will end up feeling like a fool and miserable.

This is what God has given us intelligence for.

Be grateful to God that we have intelligence and good teachers who give us knowledge so that we only make right decisions in life.

This is the kind of knowledge we can get from our scriptures.

Our scriptures are great teachers themselves.

One more thing, why should you look for money that comes without effort?

Only what you earn with your own effort will get you respect, satisfaction, and happiness.
