'O Lord of Lords, Master of the Universe, please out of your mercy,
Teach me, your devoted disciple, the 'Vamshakhya Kavacha'.

The Sun God spoke:
'Listen, my son, I will teach you the sacred 'Vanshakya Kavacha',
By reciting it, one ensures the protection of offspring and safety during pregnancy.'
Meaning:
'An infertile woman will bear a son, and even a woman who has lost children,
Will have good offspring; even a woman with miscarriages will have stable pregnancy.'
Meaning:
'A woman who could not conceive will become fertile, and by wearing this (written as amulet),
She will deliver safely; a woman who has only daughters will turn into a mother of sons through the power of this hymn.'
Meaning:
'All obstacles caused by evil spirits, family curses, planetary afflictions,
Divine hindrances, or enemies will be destroyed.'

'All these will be turned to ashes by the power of this Kavacha,
All diseases and harmful influences affecting children will be eliminated.'

'May Goddess Varahi protect in the east, Ambika herself in the southeast,
