ॐ गणानां त्वा गणपतिं हवामहे कविं कवीनामुपवश्रवस्तमम्।
ज्येष्ठराजं ब्रह्मणां ब्रह्मणस्पत आ नः शृण्वन्नूतिभिः सीद सादनम्।।
जातवेदसे सुनवाम सोममरातीयतो नि दहाति वेदः।
स नः पर्षदति दुर्गानि विश्वा नावेव सिन्धुं दुरितात्यग्निः।।
क्षेत्रस्य पतिना वयं हितेनेव जयामसि।
गामश्वं पोषयित्न्वा स नो मृडातीदृशे।।
वास्तोष्पते प्रति जानीह्यस्मान् स्वावेशो अनमीवो भवा नः।
यत्त्वेमहे प्रति तन्नो जुषस्व शन्न एधि द्विपदे शं चतुष्पदे।।
वास्तोष्पते शग्मया शंसदा ते सक्षीमहि रण्वया गातुमत्या।
आ वः क्षेम उत योगे वरन्नो यूयं पात स्वस्तिभिः सदा नः।।
वास्तोष्पते प्र तरणो न एधि गोभिरश्वेभिरिन्दो।
अजरासस्ते सख्ये स्याम पितेव पुत्रान् प्रति नो जुषस्व।।
अमीवहा वास्तोष्पते विश्वा रूपाण्याविशन्।
सखा सुषेव एधि नः।।
त्र्यंबकं यजामहे सुगन्धिं पुष्टिवर्धनम्।
उर्वारुकमिव बन्धनान्मृत्योर्मुक्षीय माऽमृतात्।।
यत इन्द्र भयामहे ततो नो अभयं कृधि।
मघवञ्छग्धि तव तन्न ऊतये विड्विशो विमृधो जहि।।
स्वस्तिदा विशस्पतिर्वृत्रहा वि मृधो वशी।
वृषेन्द्रः पुर एतु नः स्वस्तिदा अभयङ्करः।।
येते सहस्रमयुतं पाशा मृत्यो मर्त्याय हन्तवे।
तान् यज्ञस्य मायया सर्वानव यजामहे।
मूर्धानन्दिवो अरतिं पृथिव्या वैश्वानरमृताय जातमग्निम्।
कविं सम्राजमतिथिं जनानामासन्ना पात्रं जनयन्त देवाः।।

Ganapati -

Durga -

Mrityu -
yete sahasramayutam' paashaa mri'tyo martyaaya hantave.
taan yajnyasya maayayaa sarvaanava yajaamahe.
Agni -
moordhaanandivo aratim' pri'thivyaa vaishvaanaramri'taaya jaatamagnim.
kavim' samraajamatithim' janaanaamaasannaa paatram' janayanta devaah'..

Meaning -

1. ॐ गणानां त्वा गणपतिं हवामहे...
We invoke you, O Ganapati, leader of all groups.
You are the supreme wisdom among the wise.
You are the greatest ruler of divine knowledge.
O Brahmanaspati, listen to our prayers.
Come and sit here and bless us with your protection and guidance.

2. जातवेदसे सुनवाम सोमम्...
We offer Soma to Agni, the all-knowing fire.
May Agni burn and destroy all hostile forces.
May that divine fire carry us safely across all difficulties,
Just as a boat carries people across a dangerous ocean.

3. क्षेत्रस्य पतिना वयं हितेनैव जयामसि...
