This single God who breathes and winks his eyelids, both indicating the life force in him – he became the king of the universe. He is keen on the welfare of all beings. Him we worship.

He has held the earth firm. He has held the heaven up so that it doesn’t fall. He has suspended the atmosphere in between. He is holding the Sun in his place and has kept the rain clouds in their place. Him we worship.

When Prajapati started creating, it was all water first. He was not able to create anything else. Out of frustration, he started crying. When his tears fell upon that water, it solidified into earth. He started making the surface of earth even – without ups and downs – with his hands. That created space called atmosphere, antariksha. And when he lifted his hands up and rubbed his chest, heaven was formed. Since the earth and heaven were created after he cried, they are collectively called रोदसी. By the term क्रन्दसी, this crying is referred. The heaven and earth were created for the protection of the beings – अवसा तस्तभाने.

Look at these earth and heaven – brilliant. Know his greatness from the fact that he created them. It is because of him the Sun rises and shines. Him we worship.

The golden egg was in the womb of the primordial waters, and this one and only God became the life force of everything that was created – like heaven and earth and devas. Him we worship.

Those primordial waters held Prajapati in the womb. He created yajna, and he is the greatest among devas. There is no other one like him.
