Atharva Veda Mantra for a Great Life

शं न इन्द्राग्नी भवतामवोभिः शं न इन्द्रावरुणा रातहव्या ।
शमिन्द्रासोमा सुविताय शं योः शं न इन्द्रापूषणा वाजसातौ ॥१॥
शं नो भगः शमु नः शंसो अस्तु शं नः पुरंधिः शमु सन्तु रायः ।
शं नः सत्यस्य सुयमस्य शंसः शं नो अर्यमा पुरुजातो अस्तु ॥२॥
शं नो धाता शमु धर्ता नो अस्तु शं न उरूची भवतु स्वधाभिः ।
शं रोदसी बृहती शं नो अद्रिः शं नो देवानां सुहवानि सन्तु ॥३॥
शं नो अग्निर्ज्योतिरनीको अस्तु शं नो मित्रावरुणावश्विना शम् ।
शं नः सुकृतां सुकृतानि सन्तु शं न इषिरो अभि वातु वातः ॥४॥
शं नो द्यावापृथिवी पूर्वहूतौ शमन्तरिक्षं दृशये नो अस्तु ।
शं न ओषधीर्वनिनो भवन्तु शं नो रजसस्पतिरस्तु जिष्णुः ॥५॥
शं न इन्द्रो वसुभिर्देवो अस्तु शमादित्येभिर्वरुणः सुशंसः ।
शं नो रुद्रो रुद्रेभिर्जलाषः शं नस्त्वष्टा ग्नाभिरिह शृणोतु ॥६॥
शं नः सोमो भवतु ब्रह्म शं नः शं नो ग्रावाणः शमु सन्तु यज्ञाः ।
शं नः स्वरूनां मितयो भवन्तु शं नः प्रस्वः शं वस्तु वेदिः ॥७॥
शं नः सूर्य उरुचक्षा उदेतु शं नो भवन्तु प्रदिशश्चतस्रः ।
शं नः पर्वता ध्रुवयो भवन्तु शं नः सिन्धवः शमु सन्त्वापः ॥८॥
शं नो अदितिर्भवतु व्रतेभिः शं नो भवन्तु मरुतः स्वर्काः ।
शं नो विष्णुः शमु पूषा नो अस्तु शं नो भवित्रं शं वस्तु वायुः ॥९॥
शं नो देवः सविता त्रायमाणः शं नो भवन्तूषसो विभातीः ।
शं नः पर्जन्यो भवतु प्रजाभ्यः शं नः क्षेत्रस्य पतिरस्तु शंभुः ॥१०॥
शं नः सत्यस्य पतयो भवन्तु शं नो अर्वन्तः शमु सन्तु गावः ।
शं न ऋभवः सुकृतः सुहस्ताः शं नो भवतु पितरो हवेषु ॥११॥

आदित्या रुद्रा वसवो जुषन्तामिदं ब्रह्म क्रियमाणं नवीयः ।
शृण्वन्तु नो दिव्याः पार्थिवासो गोजाता उत ये यज्ञियासः ॥१४॥
ये देवानामृत्विजो यज्ञियासो मनोर्यजत्रा अमृता ऋतज्ञाः ।
ते नो रासन्तामुरुगायमद्य यूयं पात स्वस्तिभिः सदा नः ॥१५॥
तदस्तु मित्रावरुणा तदग्ने शं योरस्मभ्यमिदमस्तु शस्तम् ।
अशीमहि गाधमुत प्रतिष्ठां नमो दिवे बृहते सादनाय ॥१६॥

May Indra and Agni bless us with protection.
May Indra and Varuna accept our offerings.
May Indra and Soma grant us well-being.
May Indra and Pushan give us strength and nourishment.

Verse 2
May Bhag (giver of fortune) bless us.
May divine praise and wisdom uplift us.
May abundance and prosperity come to us.
May Aryama (guardian of order and relationships) guide us rightly.

Verse 3
May Dhata (creator) and Dharta (sustainer) support us.
May the vast cosmic forces nurture us.
May heaven and earth remain favorable.
May even the mountains and divine forces respond kindly to us.

Verse 4
May Agni shine as guiding light.
May Mitra, Varuna, and Ashwini Kumaras protect us.
May our good actions bear good results.
May the wind bring freshness and vitality.

Verse 5
May heaven and earth support us.
May the space between them be clear and beneficial.
May herbs and forests nourish us.
May the lord of movement and energy guide us forward.

Verse 6
May Indra with the Vasus protect us.
May Varuna with the Adityas bless us.
May Rudra remove suffering.
May Tvashta (divine craftsman) hear and respond to us.

Verse 7
May Soma (divine bliss) strengthen our spiritual life.
May sacred rituals be fruitful.
May the tools of yajna support us.
May the sacred altar be auspicious.

Verse 8
May the Sun rise with clarity and vision.
May all directions be favorable.
May mountains remain steady.
May rivers and waters flow peacefully.

Verse 9
May Aditi (cosmic mother) protect us through discipline.
May the Maruts (forces of movement) energize us.
May Vishnu and Pushan guide and sustain us.
May Vayu (life force) support our existence.

Verse 10
May Savita (divine inspirer) protect us.
May the dawns bring new light.
May rain nourish our people.
May the lord of the fields bring prosperity.

Verse 11
May truth and righteousness guide us.
May horses (energy) and cows (nourishment) support us.
May skilled beings bless our efforts.
May our ancestors accept our offerings.

Verse 12
May all gods together bless us.
May Saraswati grant wisdom and clarity.
May seen and unseen forces remain peaceful.
May all realms — divine, earthly, and watery — be harmonious.

Verse 13
May cosmic forces like Aja Ekapad, Ahirbudhnya, and the ocean protect us.
May the divine fire within waters bless us.
May Prishni (cosmic mother principle) nurture us.

Verse 14
May Adityas, Rudras, and Vasus accept this fresh prayer.
May all divine and earthly beings hear us.
May all worthy and sacred forces respond to this invocation.

Verse 15
May those divine priests of the cosmos, who understand truth and yajna, bless us.
May they grant us expansive well-being.
May they always protect us with auspiciousness.

Verse 16
May this prayer be accepted by Mitra, Varuna, and Agni.
May it bring us peace and strength.
May we attain stability and higher grounding in life.
Salutations to the vast divine reality that supports everything.

The essence

This is not a narrow prayer. It is a complete alignment.

Let everything — inside me and outside me — move in harmony.
