We are talking about the Big Bang Theory in the Vedas.
Why should everything get vetted by science? What is the big deal?
We are looking up to science to substantiate and justify every religious practice, every religious principle. This is utter stupidity.
You are asking a first standard student to validate a doctoral thesis. Because the boy is a topper in first standard, he should be intelligent. That is what science is – a first standard student.
Social media is full of this stupidity. Fake information. Fake planted information. Fake deliberately planted information. Like fake currency.
Who prints and distributes fake currency? Our enemy nation.
Why? Not to make profit. They want to destroy our economy.
Fake currency looks like the original. They feel like the original. Only an expert can make out which is fake and which is original.
Once the country is flooded with fake currency, you will not be able to distinguish between the real and the fake. You will lose trust. You will lose faith. Every currency note will become a suspect. Every transaction will be carried out in an atmosphere of mistrust. The goal of the enemy is to create this mistrust and destroy the economy.
In the same manner, people who float these bogus fake messages only want to destroy Hinduism, and the easiest way to do that is create mistrust, spread wrong information. This is done only to destroy faith.
Another kind of message – some God’s name or photo – send this to 10 people, you will win a lottery; ignore this, you will hear bad news.
Are Hindus so stupid? Is this what our rishis taught us? Are these the lofty principles of spirituality that we learned from the Vedas, Shastras, Puranas, Itihasas, Upanishads, Geeta?
The whole world is looking up to us as far as spirituality is concerned, and we are here forwarding WhatsApp messages – there is a nerve centre behind the ear, if you wrap your yajñopavita around the ear when you attend to nature’s call, you will never get urinary infection.
On a Saturday, feed two white rotis to a black dog. Of course you can – out of compassion. Not for removal of obstacles. Not for getting promotion. Not to avoid accident.
We are chanting Mrutyunjaya Mantra in a group – forward this to as many people as you can.
Mrutyunjaya Mantra – for whom? For what?
Scriptures say – result of any karma performed without pronouncing the place, time, and for whom and for what it is meant will not gain any result. It is like an address you write on a post cover. Write a letter, put it in a cover, put it in the post box – no address.
Where will it go? Dustbin.
This is what will happen to all these WhatsApp prayers.
When you have a flood of these messages, you get disgusted. Religion and spirituality become disgusting for you. You get out of these groups and run away when someone sends you an invite to join a spiritual group. Even before someone finishes typing to include you in a group, you exit.
This is another planned strategy – flood the public domain with so much rubbish that you get disgusted. Even the authentic gets submerged.
Be discreet. Be thoughtful. Be mindful of what you read, what you spread.
People who share and forward such messages are only aiding them.
