A queen regains respect

A queen regains respect

In the Malava kingdom, Queen Sunita lived a life of sorrow. She was the wife of Maharaj Chandrasen, but she had no children. This made her life difficult. The king took another wife, Rani Madanavati. Madanavati was jealous of Sunita. She mistreated her and spoke harsh words. Over time, she forced Sunita to leave the palace.

Sunita wandered alone, filled with sadness. She had lost her home, her respect, and her place in the kingdom. One day, while walking by a river, she heard the sound of mantras. She saw a grand puja taking place. People were praying to Lord Ganesha with deep devotion. Their faith touched her heart.

A wise sage was present at the puja. He saw Sunita standing alone, looking troubled. He walked up to her and asked, ‘Why are you so sad, my child?’ Sunita’s eyes filled with tears. She told the sage about her suffering. The sage listened with kindness.

He then said, ‘Do not lose hope. Lord Ganesha removes obstacles. Worship him with faith. He is the giver of success and joy. He will take away your pain.’

Sunita felt new hope. She decided to follow the sage’s words. She performed a special puja for Lord Ganesha. She fasted with devotion and prayed with a pure heart. Days passed, and her prayers bore fruit.

The king soon realized that being childless was no fault of Sunita. He invited Sunita back to the palace. He had arranged a puja for Lord Ganesha and wanted her to be there. Madanavati was also invited, but she refused to attend. She still carried jealousy in her heart.

The puja was grand. Sunita was honored before all. Soon after, she conceived a child. The entire kingdom celebrated. Sunita regained her health, her glory, and her happiness.

But Madanavati was troubled. She had lost her place in the king’s heart. She realized her mistakes and felt regret. She went to Sunita and asked for help. Sunita did not hold any anger. She told Madanavati to worship Lord Ganesha.

Madanavati followed her advice. She prayed to Lord Ganesha with sincerity. Over time, peace returned to her heart. Sunita and Madanavati began to live in harmony.

This story teaches about the greatness of Lord Ganesha and that devotion can change lives. Even those who cause pain to others can transform through true worship and a pure heart.
