We want everything to be simple, in black and white.

Either black or white.

Either good or bad.

Either tall or dwarf.

Either beautiful or ugly.

Because it is then very easy on the mind.

You don’t want your mind to work.

We want a digest.

Somebody else should analyze and give us a conclusion.

Knowledge is not as simple as that.

We are happy when it is as simple as- Lord Rama is noble and Ravana is evil.

Lord Krishna is noble and Kamsa is evil.

Noble conquered evil.

Noble destroyed evil.

But thenwho were Hiranyaksha and Hiranyakashipu ?

The guards at the gate of Vaikuntha: Jaya, and Vijaya.

Who were Ravana and Kumbhakarna?

Same; Jaya, and Vijaya.

Who has sent them here down to earth to wreak havoc?

The Lord only.

Without his desire, how can it happen?

But why?

Is the Lord promoting evil then?

This is where we have to understand.

What is the purpose of human birth?

To progress and become one with God.

Manushyaloka is the only place where you can do this.

All other lokas, it is always status quo.

There is no work or progress in those worlds.

You go to Swarga just to enjoy.

You go to Naraka just to suffer.

There is nothing that you have to do there.

There is nothing that you can do there.

But Manushyaloka, you can work, you can think, you can analyze, you can understand, you can progress towards the Almighty.

So even if a Deva in Swargaloka has to elevate his status, he has to take birth as a human being and work towards it.

Otherwise, it is not possible.

So to progress towards the Almighty, the human being has to first understand what Almighty is.

How much is his power, how much is his vastness, how much is his knowledge?

There is a limit to which the human mind can do this.

It is beyond the human mind to capture this.

There is a telescope.

It is called James Webb Space Telescope.

This is the most powerful telescope as of now.

With this telescope, you can watch cosmic events that have happened 13.5 billion years ago.

It is not about distance.

It is about time.

Because it takes time for light to travel.

But, even this telescope has a limit you see, you can’t see what happened 14.5 billion years ago with this.

Similarly, mind also has a limit.

Then why take the route of the mind at all.

Otherwise, we will not be convinced.

We are overconfident about our capabilities.

We are overconfident that we can analyze everything, understand everything.

So, the Lord first has to show it to us, as our mind can conceive.

Stretch the mind to its limit.

When we reach that limit, only when we reach that limit, we will be convinced that the Almighty is beyond the mind, cannot be understood with the mind.

Cannot be analyzed with the mind, cannot be concluded with the mind.

This is what the Lord does when he takes avataras.

He is teaching us, he is showing us, he is transforming us at the level of the mind.

You don’t teach a KG student and a PG student in the same way.

A KG student has to be taught with pictures, stories, rhymes.

So, these Avataras are for the mind.

These are the teaching tools of the Lord.

We all appreciate and applaud someone who scales Mount Everest.

But Mount Everest has to be there, right? in the first place, so that it can be scaled.

If the whole earth is flat, what is there to scale.

So, how will Bhagavan show his power?

By conquering someone with a lot of power.

That is how he would show us a sample trailer of how powerful he is.

For that, he sends down Jaya and Vijaya to play the roles of Hiranyaksha, Hiranyakashipu, Ravana, Kumbhakarna.

This is how martial arts practitioners demonstrate their strength to us.

They will stack two or three or four bricks one above the other and break them with their bare hands.

Who has put the bricks there?

They have only put.

Without the bricks, can they show the power to us?

No.

This is what it is.

Bhagavan only creates these evil characters to give us an idea about how powerful he is.

He destroys them to demonstrate to us how powerful he is.

He creates these characters also to show us what is good and what is bad.

Unless you understand what is bad, you will not know what is good.

Unless you suffer hunger, you will not know the value of food.

This also one has to do.

See the Lord’s huge responsibility as Jagatguru.

This is why these characters; Ravana, Kamsa, they all get moksha eventually.

You don’t send Amjat Khan or Amrish Puri to jail for the role of villain they play in a movie, right?

They get awards for the work they do.

So even Ravana, Kamsa, they are just playing roles.

In the same way Ravana, Kamsa, they are just playing roles in the Lord's play.

Do you understand this?
