
समुद्रवसने देवि पर्वतस्तनमण्डले। विष्णुपत्नि नमस्तुभ्यं पादस्पर्शं क्षमस्व मे॥
samudra-vasane devi parvata-stana-maṇdale। viṣṇu-patni namas-tubhyam pāda-sparśam kṣamasva me॥
O Goddess who is clothed by the ocean and adorned with mountains as her bosom, consort of Lord Vishnu, I bow to you. Please forgive me for touching you with my feet.
समुद्रवसने - 'Samudra-vasane' - (O Goddess) who is clothed by the ocean, देवि - 'Devi' - O Goddess, पर्वतस्तनमण्डले - 'Parvata-stana-mandale' - adorned with mountains as bosom, विष्णुपत्नि - 'Vishnu-patni' - consort of Lord Vishnu, नमः - 'Namah' - bow, तुभ्यं - 'Tubhyam' - to you, पादस्पर्शं - 'Pada-sparsham' - touching with feet, क्षमस्व - 'Kshamasva' - forgive, मे - 'Me' - me.
