अस्य श्री आद्यादि श्रीमहालक्ष्मी-हृदय-स्तोत्र-महामन्त्रस्य
भार्गव ऋषिः (शिरसि),
अनुष्टुभादि नानाछन्दांसि (मुखे),
आद्यादि-श्रीमहालक्ष्मी सहित नारायणो देवता (हृदये)॥
This sacred mantra springs from the vision of Sage Bhrigu — his head shines with the tapas that gave birth to it.
Its rhythm dances in many metres — led by Anushtubh — like melodies pouring from the mouth of divine wisdom.
At its heart, it is not one — but two supreme forces as one — Mahalakshmi, the primal mother of all abundance, and Narayana, the eternal protector.
This is not just a chant — it is the secret pulse of divine presence, invoked to awaken the very heart of Lakshmi herself.
ॐ बीजं, ह्रीं शक्तिः, ऐं कीलकम् ।
आद्यादि-श्रीमहालक्ष्मी-प्रसादसिद्ध्यर्थं जपे विनियोगः ॥
ॐ — the primal seed. It is the breath of the universe, the first throb of sound from which all arises.
Hreem — the embodiment of Shakti, the very force of Mahalakshmi. It is the heartbeat of her compassion and the power behind all manifestation.
Aim — the locking force, sealing the potency. It connects knowledge with desire, and desire with creation.
These syllables aren’t just sounds — they are sparks from the divine fire.
And what is their purpose? To awaken grace.
To make the heart of Mahalakshmi open like a thousand-petalled lotus.
This is vinyoga — the setting of intent: May this chant become the bridge to her mercy. May the fruit of her blessings reach the one who chants.
ॐ ॥ 'आद्यादि-श्रीमहालक्ष्मी देवतयै नमः' हृदये, 'श्रीं बीजायै नमः' गुह्ये,
'ह्रीं शक्त्यै नमः' पादयोः, 'ऐं बलायै नमः' मूर्धादि-पाद-पर्यन्तं विन्यसेत् ॥
O seeker of grace, begin by invoking the supreme presence of Shri Mahalakshmi — the primal, all-nourishing goddess — and install her in the heart with the mantra 'आद्यादि-श्रीमहालक्ष्मी देवतयै नमः'. Let this heart be her throne.
Then, offer reverence to the seed sound 'श्रीं' — the very essence of abundance — and place it at the secret center, the guhya-sthana. This is where her mystery blooms in silence.
On both feet, establish 'ह्रीं', the power of her shakti — that force which electrifies and animates all action. For the goddess walks not with limbs, but with energy.
From head to toe, let 'ऐं', the seed of wisdom and strength, envelop you completely. Like armor forged from divine knowledge, let it seal you in spiritual might.
In this way, through mantra-nyasa, you invite not just the form of Lakshmi, but her entire force-field — her power, her wealth, her wisdom — into your very being. She does not just descend. She awakens within.
ॐ श्रीं ह्रीं ऐं करतल-करपार्श्वयोः, श्रीं अङ्गुष्ठाभ्यां नमः,
ह्रीं तर्जनीभ्यां नमः, ऐं मध्यमाभ्यां नमः,
श्रीं अनामिकाभ्यां नमः, ह्रीं कनिष्ठिकाभ्यां नमः,
ऐं करतल-करपृष्ठाभ्यां नमः ॥
Let the fingertips become divine instruments of worship.
With this, the very hands that act in the world become the hands of the Goddess Herself.
ॐ हृदयाय नमः, ह्रीं शिरसे स्वाहा, ऐं शिखायै वषट्,
श्रीं कवचाय हुम्, ह्रीं नेत्राभ्यां वौषट्, भूर्भुवस्सुवरोमिति दिग्बन्धः ॥
Let the body be sealed with the radiance of Devi.

॥ अथ ध्यानम् ॥
Now begins the meditation — the sacred visualisation of Mahalakshmi as the supreme form.
This line is an invitation. Not a command, not a rule — an invitation to see the Devi, not with your outer eyes, but with the eyes of bhava — devotional inner vision.
We’re about to enter a space where Mahalakshmi isn’t just a name or form — She is sarvarasa-mayi, filled with every rasa, every feeling, every force of prosperity, beauty, courage, and compassion. She stands radiant in the core of the heart (hridaya), not just giving boons, but becoming the source of your inner radiance.
This meditation unlocks that doorway.
हस्तद्वयेन कमले धारयन्तीं स्वलीलया ।
हार-नूपुर-संयुक्तां महालक्ष्मीं विचिन्तयेत् ॥
Picture her now —
Mahalakshmi, glowing with ease and grace,
holding two full-blossomed lotuses in her hands — as if the very beauty of the world sits gently upon her palms.
She isn’t trying — she’s just being. That’s the charm of swaleela — effortless majesty.
She’s adorned — not weighed down — by ornaments.
Necklace shimmering, anklets gently singing.
No opulence for show. It’s just her nature.
This is how the wise one meditates —
not on a cold statue,
but on a living, breathing, smiling force of radiance:
Mahalakshmi herself.
कौशेय-पीतवसनामरविन्दनेत्राम्
पद्मद्वयाभय-वरोद्यत-पद्महस्ताम् ।
उद्यच्छतार्क-सदृशां परमाङ्क-संस्थां
ध्यायेत् विधीशनत-पादयुगां जनित्रीम् ॥
Meditate deeply —
on the Divine Mother Mahalakshmi,
draped in radiant yellow silken garments (kausheya peetavasana) — glowing like golden light that moves.
Her eyes are like lotuses — wide, soft, and brimming with mercy.
Her hands?
One holds a lotus of purity.
One offers fearlessness.
One grants boons.
One holds another lotus — her very touch sanctifies.
She shines like the rising sun — not just bright, but awakening.
Seated on the lap (paramanka) of the Supreme — Vishnu himself —
she is not merely consort. She is shakti.
Even the creator Brahma bows at her feet —
for she is the Janitri — the mother of all, including the gods.

Salutations and full surrender (svaha)
to Sri Lakshmi,
who holds the lotus — the seat of purity, prosperity, and grace.
She rides the lion — not just a vehicle,

पीतवस्त्रां सुवर्णाङ्गीं पद्महस्त-द्वयान्विताम् ।
लक्ष्मीं ध्यात्वेति मन्त्रेण स भवेत् पृथिवीपतिः ॥
Visualize Lakshmi clothed in soft golden-yellow silk —
like a ray of sunlight wrapped in divine fabric.
Her skin gleams like molten gold,
not just in color, but in the aura of wealth and auspiciousness she radiates.
In both hands she holds lotuses —
symbols of purity, abundance, and unstained grace rising even from the mud of the world.
The one who meditates upon her with this mantra —
with heart soaked in reverence —
is no ordinary seeker.
He becomes a king upon earth —
blessed with prosperity, influence, and the power to nourish many.
मातुलङ्ग-गदाखेटे पाणौ पात्रञ्च बिभ्रती ।
वागलिङ्गञ्च मानञ्च बिभ्रती नृपमूर्धनि ॥
She holds a matulanga — a ripe citron.
It stands for sweet, ripened wealth — not raw, not wasted.
In her other hand, a gada (mace) and kheta (shield).
Power to protect. Strength to strike when needed.
A sacred vessel rests in her palm.
It overflows — but only into clean hands.
She bears the vagalinga — the seal of divine speech.
Placed right on the crown of kings.
Not just sound — it’s truth.
That truth makes rulers noble.
Without her, crowns are empty.

वन्दे लक्ष्मीं परशिवमयीं शुद्धजाम्बूनदाभां
तेजोरूपां कनक-वसनां सर्वभूषोज्ज्वलाङ्गीम् ।
बीजापूरं कनक-कलशं हेमपद्मं दधानाम्
आद्यां शक्तिं सकलजननीं विष्णु-वामाङ्कसंस्थाम् ॥ १॥
I bow to Lakshmi, the primal Shakti.
She is para-Shiva-mayi — filled with the supreme stillness of Shiva.
Yet she flows — as beauty, as abundance, as radiance.
Her skin glows like molten gold — pure, flawless.
Her garment shines like sunlit silk, a golden hue.
She glistens with jewels — every limb is resplendent.
In her hands: a bijapura — citron, symbol of sweet fulfillment.
A golden kalasha — wealth stored and ready to be shared.
A lotus of gold — beauty rooted in purity, untouched by filth.
She is the first Shakti, the mother of all beings.
And she rests at the left side of Vishnu, close to His heart.
Power and peace, seated together — inseparable.
श्रीमत्सौभाग्यजननीं स्तौमि लक्ष्मीं सनातनीम् ।
सर्वकाम-फलावाप्ति-साधनैक-सुखावहाम् ॥ २॥
I offer praises to Lakshmi, the sacred mother of all good fortune.
She is eternal — not born, not ending — always radiant.
She is the very source from which all blessings rise —
wealth, health, harmony, honour — she births them with grace.
Her presence alone becomes the one means, the one key,
to fulfilling every rightful desire of the heart.
But more than fulfilment — she brings lasting joy, not fleeting pleasure.
Where she is remembered with devotion, happiness grows without strain.
स्मरामि नित्यं देवेशि त्वया प्रेरितमानसः ।
त्वदाज्ञां शिरसा धृत्वा भजामि परमेश्वरीम् ॥ ३॥
O Supreme Devi, my mind remembers you every single day — not out of habit, but because you yourself stir it from within.
Like a flame that cannot stay still, my thoughts keep turning to you.
Your command is my crown. I hold it upon my head, not out of fear — but with sacred pride.
You are not just my guide — you are my chosen sovereign.
So I worship you, not with borrowed rituals, but with a heart that bows completely.
You are Parameshwari — the one who rules all, yet listens to the smallest prayer.
समस्त-सम्पत्सुखदां महाश्रियं
समस्त-कल्याणकरीं महाश्रियम् ।
समस्त-सौभाग्यकरीं महाश्रियं
भजाम्यहं ज्ञानकरीं महाश्रियम् ॥ ४॥
I worship Her —
Who brings all forms of wealth and joy.
Who grants every kind of auspiciousness.
Who bestows unmatched fortune and grace.
And who, above all, blesses with the supreme gift — divine wisdom.
She is Mahashri — the great Lakshmi, the overflowing stream of beauty, virtue, and fulfillment.
To meditate on Her is to invite wholeness into one’s life.
विज्ञानसम्पत्सुखदां महाश्रियं
विचित्र-वाग्भूतिकरीं मनोहराम् ।
अनन्त-सौभाग्य-सुखप्रदायिनीं
नमाम्यहं भूतिकरीं हरिप्रियाम् ॥ ५॥
I bow to Mahashri, the eternal beloved of Hari.
She gives the wealth of true wisdom — not just knowledge, but vision.
Her words manifest as magical speech, enchanting and powerful.
She showers endless joy and auspiciousness like a golden rain.
She is beauty, brilliance, and blessing — all in one.
She is the one who uplifts hearts, and fulfills the highest hopes.
समस्त-भूतान्तरसंस्थिता त्वं
समस्त-भक्तेश्श्वरि विश्वरूपे ।
तन्नास्ति यत्त्वद्व्यतिरिक्तवस्तु
त्वत्पादपद्मं प्रणमाम्यहं श्रीः ॥ ६॥
You dwell inside every living being — quietly, fully.
You are the inner ruler of all devotees, yet beyond all forms.
O cosmic one! There is nothing outside you. Nothing separate.
I, bow to your lotus feet —
the one truth behind all seeming differences, the source of all that is.
दारिद्र्य-दुःखौघ-तमोऽपहन्त्रि
त्वत्-पादपद्मं मयि सन्निधत्स्व ।
दीनार्ति-विच्छेदन-हेतुभूतैः
कृपाकटाक्षैरभिषिञ्च मां श्रीः ॥ ७॥
O remover of poverty, sorrow, and inner darkness —
let your lotus feet be ever near me, dwell in my heart.
Bathe me with your glance — not just any glance,
but those mercy-filled eyes that break the chains of the distressed.
विष्णु-स्तुतिपरां लक्ष्मीं
स्वर्णवर्णां स्तुति-प्रियाम् ।
वरदाभयदां देवीं
वन्दे त्वां कमलेक्षणे ॥ ८॥
O golden-hued Lakshmi!
You delight in praises. You revel in the chants of Vishnu’s glory.
Your eyes are like blooming lotuses.
Your hands bless and protect without hesitation.
I bow to you — the one whose very presence is divine comfort.
अम्ब प्रसीद करुणा-परिपूर्ण-दृष्ट्या
मां त्वत्कृपाद्रविणगेहमिमं कुरुष्व ।
आलोकय प्रणत-हृद्गत-शोकहन्त्रि
त्वत्पाद-पद्मयुगलं प्रणमाम्यहं श्रीः ॥ ९॥
O Mother, let your eyes overflow with compassion and glance upon me.
Turn this poor heart into a treasure house of your grace.
See me, bowed and weary — you who melt away sorrow just by being seen.
I fall at your twin lotus feet, my only wealth, my only hope.
शान्त्यै नमोऽस्तु शरणागत-रक्षणायै
कान्त्यै नमोऽस्तु कमनीय-गुणाश्रयायै ।
क्षान्त्यै नमोऽस्तु दुरितक्षय-कारणायै
धात्र्यै नमोऽस्तु धन-धान्य-समृद्धिदायै ॥ १०॥
Salutations to Peace — to the one who shields those who surrender.
Salutations to Beauty — the refuge of all charming virtues.
Salutations to Patience — destroyer of deep-rooted sins.
Salutations to the Nourisher — giver of wealth, food, and lasting abundance.
शक्त्यै नमोऽस्तु शशिशेखर-संस्थितायै
रत्यै नमोऽस्तु रजनीकर-सोदरायै ।
भक्त्यै नमोऽस्तु भवसागर-तारकायै
मत्यै नमोऽस्तु मधुसूदन-वल्लभायै ॥ ११॥
Salutations to Shakti — the eternal force seated beside the moon-crested Lord.
Salutations to Rati — as radiant as the moon, her celestial sibling in charm.
Salutations to Bhakti — the compassionate boat that ferries across this ocean of sorrow.

धृत्यै नमोऽस्तु मम दुर्गति-भञ्जनायै

देव्यै नमोऽस्तु दिवि देवगणार्चितायै

सुतीव्र-दारिद्र्य-तमोऽपहन्त्र्यै नमोऽस्तु ते
सर्व-भयापहन्त्र्यै ।
श्रीविष्णु-वक्षःस्थल-संस्थितायै
नमो नमः सर्व-विभूति-दायै ॥ १४॥
Salutations to you, O remover of crushing poverty and deep darkness.
Salutations again to you, O destroyer of every fear and anxiety.
Seated upon the chest of Shri Vishnu, you are the heart of all auspiciousness.
Endless are your gifts — wealth, strength, grace, and glory — to those who remember you.

Salutations upon salutations to the radiant Devi — the one worshipped by hosts of Devas in awe and love.

Glory to the Nitya — the ever-constant One, revealed only to those who know spotless truth.
All hail to Satya — Truth eternal, who dwells as the silent witness in the hearts of all beings.
जयतु जयतु रम्या रत्नगर्भान्तरस्था
जयतु जयतु शुद्धा शुद्धजाम्बूनदाभा ।
जयतु जयतु कान्ता कान्तिमद्भासिताङ्गी
जयतु जयतु शान्ता शीघ्रमागच्छ सौम्ये ॥ १७॥
Victory to the charming goddess — hidden like a precious gem in the heart of creation.
Victory to the pure one — her golden glow shines like molten jambunada gold.
Victory to the beloved — her limbs shimmer with natural radiance, lighting up all directions.
Victory to the serene one — O gentle mother, come swiftly with peace in your eyes.
यस्याः कलायाः कमलोद्भवाद्या
रुद्राश्च शक्रप्रमुखाश्च देवाः ।
जीवन्ति सर्वेऽपि सशक्तयस्ते
प्रभुत्वमाप्ताः परमायुषस्ते ॥ १८॥
From just a sliver of her power, Brahma blooms from the lotus, Rudra rages in fire, and Indra thunders from the clouds.
All Devas, their strength, their rule, their long lives — are borrowed from that one divine spark of hers.
She lends them might, she lends them grace — but she remains untouched, infinite, and beyond.
॥ मुखबीजम् ॥
ॐ ह्रां ह्रीं अं आं यं दुं लं वम् ॥

Come, stamp it with your golden ring — the mudrika that signals wealth, joy, fortune, and fulfillment.
Your seal is not a decoration.
It is the final word that turns doubt into certainty — the mark that announces blessed is this life.
॥ पादबीजम् ॥ ॐ अं आं ईं एं ऐं कं लं रं ॥
— is a Paadabeejam mantra, a bija-syllable-based seed mantra used in Lakshmi worship for invoking the divine energies starting from the feet upward.

and the fearless refuge for those who love you truly —
Do not let your presence in me be fleeting or uncertain.
With great resolve, anchor your divine portion in me — firm, unmoving, unshakable.

Let your kalā — your sacred spark — sit deep within and never drift away.
मुदास्तां मत्फाले परमपदलक्ष्मीः स्फुटकला
सदा वैकुण्ठश्रीर्निवसतु कला मे नयनयोः ।
वसेत्सत्ये लोके मम वचसि लक्ष्मीर्वरकला
श्रियश्वेतद्वीपे निवसतु कला मे स्व-करयोः ॥ २३॥

सर्वमङ्गलसम्पूर्णा सर्वैश्वर्यसमन्विता ।
आद्याऽऽदिश्रीर्महालक्ष्मीस्त्वत्कला मयि तिष्ठतु ॥ २५॥
Let that first-born flame of abundance — the original, eternal Lakshmi —
reside within me.

Where she stays, all mangalam, all aiswaryam, all siddhi — follow naturally.
अज्ञानतिमिरं हन्तुं शुद्धज्ञानप्रकाशिका ।
सर्वैश्वर्यप्रदा मेऽस्तु त्वत्कला मयि संस्थिता ॥ २६॥
Let that divine spark of yours dwell in me, O Lakshmi —
she who shatters the dark fog of ignorance
and radiates pure, unwavering knowledge.
Let her stay —
the one who bestows sarva-aiswaryam, all forms of prosperity,
so that both inner light and outer abundance
shine together through this very life.
अलक्ष्मीं हरतु क्षिप्रं तमः सूर्यप्रभा यथा ।
वितनोतु मम श्रेयस्त्वत्कला मयि संस्थिता ॥ २७॥
O Lakshmi, let your divine kala dwell in me —
and chase away alakshmi (misfortune) as swiftly
as sunlight scatters thick darkness at dawn.
May her presence unfold all-round well-being —
not just wealth, but strength, clarity, harmony, and grace —
like the sun that not only shines, but also warms and awakens.
ऐश्वर्यमङ्गलोत्पत्तिः त्वत्कलायां निधीयते ।
मयि तस्मात्कृतार्थोऽस्मि पात्रमस्मि स्थितेस्तव ॥ २८॥
All that is auspicious — wealth, brilliance, divine order —
springs from just one spark of you, O Mahalakshmi.
That spark, your kala, lives in me now.
So I declare — I am fulfilled.
A vessel worthy of your presence.
Let me never forget this honour that holds the heavens within.
भवदावेशभाग्यार्हो भाग्यवानस्मि भार्गवि ।
त्वत्प्रसादात्पवित्रोऽहं लोकमातर्नमोऽस्तु ते ॥ २९॥
O Bhargavi — you have entered me, graced me, made me worthy of your presence.
That itself is my greatest fortune.
By your mercy, I am purified — touched by the sacred flame of your favour.
O Mother of all worlds, I bow to you again and again.
पुनासि मां त्वत्कलयैव यस्मात्
अतस्समागच्छ ममाग्रतस्त्वम् ।
परं पदं श्रीर्भव सुप्रसन्ना
मय्यच्युतेन प्रविशादिलक्ष्मीः ॥ ३०॥
O Goddess! It is through your divine kalaa — your essence — that I am purified.
So, come! Stand before me, not as a distant hope, but as a present reality.
With your supreme grace, let me attain that parama padam — the ultimate state of bliss.
O Lakshmi of the beginningless Vishnu, with Achyuta by your side, enter into my being — as the original, eternal Lakshmi.
श्रीवैकुण्ठस्थिते लक्ष्मि समागच्छ ममाग्रतः ।
नारायणेन सह मां कृपादृष्ट्याऽवलोकय ॥ ३१॥
O Lakshmi! Resplendent in the heights of Vaikuntha, seated eternally by the side of Narayana—
descend, come forth, and appear before me in all your grace and majesty.
With Narayana himself beside you, cast upon me a glance filled with kripaa, with mercy,
not from afar, but as a mother to her child, blessing me with your presence, your gaze, your touch.
सत्यलोकस्थिते लक्ष्मि त्वं ममागच्छ सन्निधिम् ।
वासुदेवेन सहिता प्रसीद वरदा भव ॥ ३२॥
O Lakshmi, who dwells in the radiant realms of Satyaloka —
step down into my world, draw near, become present beside me.
Come not alone, but hand in hand with Vāsudeva, the Supreme Soul,
and shower me with your blessing-glance — become my Varadaa, the one who bestows boons with ease and compassion.
श्वेतद्वीपस्थिते लक्ष्मि शीघ्रमागच्छ सुव्रते ।
विष्णुना सहिता देवि जगन्मातः प्रसीद मे ॥ ३३॥
O Lakshmi, resplendent Queen of Shvetadvipa — the realm of spotless light and eternal purity —
hasten down, O noble-hearted one, and bless this lowly soul with your nearness.
Come hand-in-hand with Vishnu, your eternal consort,
and as the gentle Mother of the universe, glance upon me with grace, and dissolve the knots of my fate.
क्षीराम्बुधिस्थिते लक्ष्मि समागच्छ समाधवे ।
त्वत्कृपादृष्टिसुधया सततं मां विलोकय ॥ ३४॥
O Lakshmi, who dwells in the milk-ocean, serene and eternal beside the Lord of yoga and stillness,
draw near to me now, O Consort of Samadhava — the One rooted in divine stillness.
Let your glance — dripping with the nectar of compassion — fall on me always,
so my being is bathed not in wealth alone, but in your unshakable grace.
रत्नगर्भस्थिते लक्ष्मि परिपूर्णहिरण्मयि ।
समागच्छ समागच्छ स्थित्वाऽऽशु पुरतो मम ॥ ३५॥
O Lakshmi, who abides deep within the jeweled womb of the earth —
radiant, overflowing with golden brilliance — a reservoir of hidden prosperity,
Come, come swiftly, and stand firm before me.
Let your presence be no longer distant or symbolic, but fully near and real.
Let your seat be in front of me, my life your temple,
and my heart — the vault where your eternal splendor quietly reigns.
स्थिरा भव महालक्ष्मि निश्चला भव निर्मले ।
प्रसन्नकमले देवि प्रसन्नहृदया भव ॥ ३६॥
O Mahalakshmi! Be steady, unshaken like the mountain’s heart.
Root yourself in my life with firm grace — never to drift, never to waver.
O spotless One, whose lotus is ever radiant,
may your heart bloom with joy, and glance upon me with gentle delight.
Let your presence in me be calm, smiling, and lasting —
like a peaceful stream that blesses all it touches.
श्रीधरे श्रीमहालक्ष्मि त्वदन्तःस्थं महानिधिम् ।
शीघ्रमुद्धृत्य पुरतः प्रदर्शय समर्पय ॥ ३७॥
O Mahalakshmi, who ever dwells in the heart of Shrihari!
Within you lies a vast hidden treasure — not of gold alone, but of grace, merit, and divine upliftment.
Draw it out swiftly, bring it forth without delay.
Place that boundless wealth — both worldly and spiritual — before me, as a mark of your favor.
Let my life be lit up by your inner store of abundance.
Reveal it, bestow it, let it blossom into visible blessings.
वसुन्धरे श्रीवसुधे वसुदोग्ध्रि कृपामयि ।
त्वत्कुक्षिगतसर्वस्वं शीघ्रं मे सम्प्रदर्शय ॥ ३८॥
O Vasundhara — sacred Earth, O Shri-Vasudha — divine mother of abundance!
You are the gentle cow of riches, ever ready to nourish, ever filled with compassion.
Within your womb lies everything — the seeds of wealth, the roots of joy, the treasures of life.
Reveal it to me now — swiftly, kindly, completely. Not later, not hidden.
Let your mercy bloom into fruit. Let your fullness flow outward.
You, the silent bearer of all fortunes — show me what you carry for me, O bounteous one!
विष्णुप्रिये रत्नगर्भे समस्तफलदे शिवे ।
त्वद्गर्भगतहेमादीन् सम्प्रदर्शय दर्शय ॥ ३९॥
O beloved of Vishnu, O Ratna-Garbha — the jewel-wombed Mother!
You are Shiva — the auspicious one, who bestows every fruit imaginable.
Within your very being lies gold, wealth, and radiant treasures untold.
Reveal them now — not in hints, not in dreams — but right before my eyes.
Let your hidden bounty rise to the surface.
Let the unseen become seen. O Lakshmi, open your jewel-vault and pour it into my life!
रसातलगते लक्ष्मि शीघ्रमागच्छ मे पुरः ।
न जाने परमं रूपं मातर्मे सम्प्रदर्शय ॥ ४०॥
O Lakshmi! Even if you dwell in the deepest subterranean realms — Rasatala,
still, I call you forth — swiftly, now, before me. Come without delay.
I am a seeker, but my eyes are veiled.
O Mother, I do not yet know your parama-rupam — your highest, most radiant form.
Show yourself, not just in fragments —
not just as gold, grains, or glimpses of success.
Reveal the true you, the complete you — the supreme source of all grace.
This verse is a soul’s direct cry —
I’m not chasing just wealth. I want to meet you.
Not your shadow, not your symbol — You. Entire. Effulgent. Divine.
Such surrender draws even the farthest goddess near.
आविर्भव मनोवेगात् शीघ्रमागच्छ मे पुरः ।
मा वत्स भैरिहेत्युक्त्वा कामं गौरिव रक्ष माम् ॥ ४१॥
O Goddess Lakshmi — appear! Come forth in a flash, faster than thought.
This is not a polite request. It’s a heart’s urgent cry. Don’t delay.
Come like Mother Gauri rushing to protect Skanda —
when He trembled, and fear struck, she didn’t wait for protocol.
She ran, arms wide, shouting — ‘Don’t fear, my child, I’m here!’
That’s the protection the devotee begs for here —
not from a distance, not through agents, but from you directly.
When fear knocks at the door of the soul,
only a mother’s rush — and a goddess’s force — can bring calm.
So, O Lakshmi, don’t just grace me. Guard me.
Not as a distant deity. As Ma — fierce, swift, and tender.
देवि शीघ्रं समागच्छ धरणीगर्भसंस्थिते ।
मातस्त्वद्भृत्यभृत्योऽहं मृगये त्वां कुतूहलात् ॥ ४२॥
O Devi! Swiftly arrive! You, who dwell hidden in the womb of the Earth —
residing in its core like a secret treasure of compassion and wealth.
I am not even your direct servant — I am the servant of your servant’s servant.
Yet here I am, chasing after you — not out of entitlement,
but with innocent wonder, like a child who runs behind a butterfly.
There is no demand in this prayer — only curiosity turned into love.
A love that seeks you, searches the hills and rivers,
looks beneath the soil, in temples, in scriptures — just to find you.
O Mother, descend from your silent sanctum.
Let my yearning itself become the reason you appear.
उत्तिष्ठ जागृहि त्वं मे समुत्तिष्ठ सुजागृहि ।
अक्षयान् हेमकलशान् सुवर्णेन सुपूरितान् ॥ ४३॥
Arise, O Lakshmi! Rise for me, awaken fully!
Let your eyes open like golden lotuses at dawn.
From the depths where you rest, step forth into motion.
Shake off your stillness and step into the rhythm of grace.
Bring with you not just presence — bring treasures!
Unending golden pots — hemakalasha — overflowing with auspicious wealth,
not just of gold, but of opportunity, courage, and divine favor.
This is not the greedy call of a merchant —
this is the reverent invocation of one who knows that your ankita (mark)
makes life luminous.
So wake up, O auspicious One — the yajna is lit, the call is pure.
The world is ready to receive your infinite bounty.
निक्षेपान्मे समाकृष्य समुद्धृत्य ममाग्रतः ।
समुन्नतानना भूत्वा सम्यग्धेहि धरातलात् ॥ ४४॥
Draw forth, O Lakshmi, the treasures buried deep — pull them up and bring them before me.
Rise from the earth with lifted face, glowing with grace and assurance.
Let your emergence be radiant, bold, and auspicious — bless me with the sight of your fullness rising from below.
रत्नगर्भस्थिते लक्ष्मि परिपूर्णहिरण्मयि ।
समागच्छ समागच्छ स्थित्वाऽऽशु पुरतो मम ॥ ४५॥
O Lakshmi, who dwells within the jewel-laden depths of the earth,
whose golden brilliance is ever-complete and all-filling —
Come, come swiftly, stand firm before me.
Let your luminous grace take form before my eyes.
अत्रोपविश्य लक्ष्मि त्वं स्थिरा भव हिरण्मयी ।
सुस्थिरा भव सम्प्रीत्या प्रसन्ना वरदा भव ॥ ४६॥
O golden Lakshmi, sit here — take your seat in my presence.
Stay rooted, shine in serene radiance, bless me with your full-hearted favour.
Be steady with love, be joyful and generous — the giver of divine boons.
आनीतांस्तु त्वया देवि निधीन्मे सम्प्रदर्शय ।
अद्य क्षणेन सहसा दत्त्वा संरक्ष मां सदा ॥ ४७॥
Show me the treasures you’ve brought, O Devi — the riches drawn forth by your divine will.
Give them to me this very moment — without delay — and guard me always, like a mother would her child.
मयि तिष्ठ तथा नित्यं यथेन्द्रादिषु तिष्ठसि ।
अभयं कुरु मे देवि महालक्ष्मि नमोऽस्तु ते ॥ ४८॥
Abide in me always, O Mahalakshmi, just as you dwell with Indra and other deities.
Grant me fearlessness, O radiant one — my salutations unto you, Mahalakshmi.
मयि तिष्ठ तथा नित्यं यथेन्द्रादिषु तिष्ठसि ।
अभयं कुरु मे देवि महालक्ष्मि नमोऽस्तु ते ॥ ४८॥
Stay with me always, just as you stay with Indra and the gods.
Let no fear ever touch me.
O Mahalakshmi, I bow to you.
समागच्छ महालक्ष्मि शुद्धजाम्बूनद-स्थिते ।
प्रसीद पुरतः स्थित्वा प्रणतं मां विलोकय ॥ ४९॥
Come forth, O Mahalakshmi, seated in radiant gold.
Stand before me, and bless me with your glance.
I bow in surrender — look upon me with grace.
लक्ष्मीर्भुवं गता भासि यत्र यत्र हिरण्मयी ।
तत्र तत्र स्थिता त्वं मे तव रूपं प्रदर्शय ॥ ५०॥
Wherever gold radiates on this earth,
there you shine, O Lakshmi — luminous and present.
Reveal that radiant form of yours to me now,
the form that dwells in every glimmer of abundance.
क्रीडन्ती बहुधा भूमौ परिपूर्णकृपा मयि ।
मम मूर्धनि ते हस्तमविलम्बितमर्पय ॥ ५१॥
She plays across the earth — not as one form, but as countless manifestations of grace — in the fields, homes, rivers, forests, hearts. She is Lakshmi, sporting freely, joyfully, tenderly, never bound.
But here I stand, not merely watching — I am drenched in her kindness, soaked in her glance.
So I beg, without shame or hesitation:
'O Lakshmi, delay no more — place your divine hand on my head now. Let it fall like a crown of mercy, like a seal of sacred fortune.'
That touch is not mere gesture — it changes the one it rests upon. It invites all of life’s beauty to flow.
फलद्भाग्योदये लक्ष्मि समस्तपुरवासिनि ।
प्रसीद मे महालक्ष्मि परिपूर्णमनोरथे ॥ ५२॥
O Lakshmi, you rise wherever true fortune awakens.
You live among all people, watching over their homes.
I bow before you, the fulfiller of complete desires.
Shower your grace, Mahalakshmi, on my sincere heart.
Let your presence turn my life into overflowing joy.
अयोध्यादिषु सर्वेषु नगरेषु समास्थिते ।
विभवैर्विविधैर्युक्तैः समागच्छ मुदान्विते ॥ ५३॥
Lakshmi, you reside in all sacred cities — especially Ayodhya.
You are adorned with endless forms of prosperity.
Come joyfully, without delay.
Let your presence fill these lands with splendour and celebration.
समागच्छ समागच्छ ममाग्रे भव सुस्थिरा ।
करुणारसनिष्यन्दनेत्रद्वयविशालिनि ॥ ५४॥
Come, O Lakshmi, come swiftly.
Stand before me and stay — firm, graceful, unmoving.
Your eyes overflow with the nectar of compassion.
Let that gaze settle on me — completely and forever.
सन्निधत्स्व महालक्ष्मि त्वत्पाणिं मम मस्तके ।
करुणासुधया मां त्वमभिषिच्य स्थिरं कुरु ॥ ५५॥
O Mahalakshmi, draw near and be fully present.
Place your hand upon my head — with tender grace.
Let the nectar of your mercy flow like a sacred anointing.
Make my fortune unwavering. Make my heart your temple.
सर्वराजगृहे लक्ष्मि समागच्छ बलान्विते ।
स्थित्वाऽऽशु पुरतो मेऽद्य प्रसादेनाभयं कुरु ॥ ५६॥
O Lakshmi, who dwells in the homes of kings, arrive here with strength and splendour.
Stand before me now — majestic, firm, and radiant.
From your calm glance, let fear vanish.
Through your grace, make this very moment auspicious.
सादरं मस्तके हस्तं मम त्वं कृपयाऽर्पय ।
सर्वराजस्थिते लक्ष्मि त्वत्कला मयि तिष्ठतु ॥ ५७॥
With loving care, place your hand upon my head, O Lakshmi.
Let it be no mere touch — but a flow of compassion, drenching my being.
You who reside in royal abodes — now let your divine aspect take root in me.
Let your auspicious presence never leave my side.
आद्यादि श्रीर्महालक्ष्मि विष्णुवामाङ्कसंस्थिते ।
प्रत्यक्षं कुरु मे रूपं रक्ष मां शरणागतम् ॥ ५८॥
O Mahalakshmi, ancient and eternal source of all prosperity, seated on Vishnu’s gentle left side —
Reveal yourself plainly to me, without veil or distance.
Let your form be not a dream, but a direct vision to my eyes.
I have come to your refuge — protect me now, as only a mother can.
प्रसीद मे महालक्ष्मि सुप्रसीद महाशिवे ।
अचला भव सुप्रीता सुस्थिरा भव मद्गृहे ॥ ५९॥
O Mahalakshmi, O Supreme Auspicious One, be gracious — not just faintly, but fully pleased.
Shower your joy upon me with that smile that melts even time.
Come to my home not as a fleeting guest, but as the still, unwavering queen.
Dwell here — gladly, steadily, gloriously.
यावत्तिष्ठन्ति वेदाश्च यावच्चन्द्र-दिवाकरौ ।
यावद्विष्णुश्च यावत्त्वं तावत्कुरु कृपां मयि ॥ ६०॥
As long as the Vedas echo in the cosmos, let your grace flow over me.
As long as the moon and sun rise and set, let your glance not leave me.
As long as Vishnu protects the worlds and you abide at his side,
Let that divine favour be fixed upon me — without pause, without end.
चान्द्री कला यथा शुक्ले वर्धते सा दिने दिने ।
तथा दया ते मय्येव वर्धतामभिवर्धताम् ॥ ६१॥
Just as the moon’s gentle light grows each day in the bright fortnight,
Let your compassion swell in my life the same way — slowly, sweetly, strongly.
Let your mercy never fade, only rise — more today than yesterday, more tomorrow than today.
यथा वैकुण्ठनगरे यथा वै क्षीरसागरे ।
तथा मद्भवने तिष्ठ स्थिरं श्रीविष्णुना सह ॥ ६२॥
As you dwell in Vaikuntha — serene, majestic, untouched by decay...
As you reign over the milk ocean — radiant, unshakable, ever-graceful...
So too, O Lakshmi, come take root in my home.
Sit still, firm, and smiling — with Vishnu by your side — never to leave again.
योगिनां हृदये नित्यं यथा तिष्ठसि विष्णुना ।
तथा मद्भवने तिष्ठ स्थिरं श्रीविष्णुना सह ॥ ६३॥
O Lakshmi, just as you forever dwell in the still, pure hearts of yogis —
seated beside Vishnu, untouched by noise, bathed in silence —
so too, come dwell in my home.
Not as a guest, not as a breeze —
but as the soul of stability, shining beside my beloved Lord.
नारायणस्य हृदये भवती यथाऽऽस्ते
नारायणोऽपि तव हृत्कमले यथाऽऽस्ते ।
नारायणस्त्वमपि नित्यविभू तथैव
तौ तिष्ठतां हृदि ममापि दयान्वितौ श्रीः ॥ ६४॥
Just as you, O Lakshmi, shine in the silent lotus of Narayana’s heart,
and he in turn rests tenderly in the core of your being,
as though the divine embraces itself in endless reflection—
may that very union of compassion and splendor
take root in my heart too.
Let the couple of light and love dwell in me—
as they dwell in Vaikuntha,
as they dwell in each other.
Let my heart become their temple.
विज्ञानवृद्धिं हृदये कुरु श्रीः
सौभाग्यवृद्धिं कुरु मे गृहे श्रीः ।
दयासुवृद्धिं कुरुतां मयि श्रीः
सुवर्णवृद्धिं कुरु मे गृहे श्रीः ॥ ६५॥
O radiant Lakshmi, let your touch awaken deep knowledge in my heart —
not just dry facts, but the wisdom that sees truth behind appearances.
Bless my home with overflowing fortune —
not just gold and grain,
but auspiciousness that uplifts all who enter.
Let kindness grow within me,
like a garden bathed in gentle rain.
Let the golden tide of wealth rise in my house —
bright, generous, pure —
not hoarded, but shared like sunlight.
न मां त्यजेथाः श्रितकल्पवल्लि
सद्भक्ति-चिन्तामणि-कामधेनो ।
न मां त्यजेथा भव सुप्रसन्ने
गृहे कलत्रेषु च पुत्रवर्गे ॥ ६६॥
O Lakshmi! You are the wish-yielding vine, the giver of all that is noble and divine.
You are the Chintamani gem of true devotion, the Kamadhenu of righteous desire.
Do not leave me.
Be gracious — always — not only in my prayers,
but in the rhythm of my home,
in the quiet smiles of my wife,
in the innocent laughter of my children.
Let your presence not vanish when I err,
let your mercy not waver when my faith shakes.
Stay — like breath, like warmth, like hope.
॥ कुक्षिबीजम् ॥
ॐ-अं-आं-ईं-एं-ऐं ॥
These bija mantras are like spiritual seeds planted deep in the womb of consciousness. Each syllable activates a specific vibration of prosperity and divine femininity.
These sounds are not just syllables. They are doors — each one a vibration of Mahalakshmi’s secret presence in the body. To chant them is to awaken her grace directly in the physical and subtle layers of your being.
आद्यादिमाये त्वमजाण्डबीजं
त्वमेव साकार-निराकृती त्वम् ।
त्वया धृताश्चाब्जभवाण्डसङ्घाः
चित्रं चरित्रं तव देवि विष्णोः ॥ ६७ ॥
You are the first of the firsts, O primal Maya, the mysterious power behind all appearance and non-appearance. Before anything took shape — before Brahma dreamt his first creation, before time turned its first moment — you were already present, silently glowing as the unmanifest seed (ajanda-bijam), from which even the cosmic egg would emerge.
You are both with form and beyond form. Sometimes you appear with lotus eyes, golden limbs, and a smile that calms the universe. Sometimes you dissolve into the vastness, ungraspable, untouchable, yet undeniably there — like fragrance without flower, or silence without end.
Every brahmanda, every world-egg where a Brahma sits on a lotus, imagining his universe — all of that is cradled in you. You are the womb of wombs, holding not just life, but the very possibility of life. The galaxies are your children. The devas play within the circle of your grace.
And what a marvelous tale is your union with Vishnu! You are not just his consort — you are his echo, his shadow, his strength, and sometimes even his script. You are the plot in his leela, the melody in his flute, and the gold in his touch. Together, you move the universe — he sustains it, but you make it dance.

O Mother, these words I offer you are clumsy, broken, sometimes sweet, sometimes silly — like a child's babble in front of his mother. Some may be called sukta — noble, poetic. Others, asukta — unrefined, stumbling. But what is poetry and what is not, in the eyes of the mother whose gaze is drenched in love?
You are Sarvajna, all-knowing. You understand the heart before the speech. You see through the soul’s trembling more than the tongue’s cleverness.
So I beg you — accept them all, with that tenderness that only you hold. Like a cow licking her newborn, not judging how it looks. Take these words. Bless them. Let them reach you.
भवन्तं शरणं गत्वा कृतार्थाः स्युः पुरातनाः ।
इति सञ्चिन्त्य मनसा त्वामहं शरणं व्रजे ॥ ७० ॥
The wise of old found fulfilment by surrendering to you.
I remember that, and reflect on it deeply in my heart.
So I too come, Mahalakshmi, seeking your refuge without delay.
Let your shelter become my life’s highest fortune.
अनन्ता नित्यसुखिनः त्वद्भक्तास्त्वत्परायणाः ।
इति वेदप्रमाणाद्धि देवि त्वां शरणं व्रजे ॥ ७१ ॥
The Vedas say—your devotees never fall, they live in unending joy.
Their minds cling to you alone, day and night, lifetime after lifetime.
I trust that truth. I bow. I seek refuge in you, O Devi.
Let my heart find the peace that the Vedas promise through you.
तव प्रतिज्ञा मद्भक्ता न नश्यन्तीत्यपि क्वचित् ।
इति सञ्चिन्त्य सञ्चिन्त्य प्राणान् सन्धारयाम्यहम् ॥ ७२ ॥
You have declared—‘My devotees never perish.’ That one vow is my lifeline.
I repeat it again and again in my heart when all else fails.
Holding on to that promise alone, I somehow keep breathing.
Your word keeps me alive, O Devi.
त्वदधीनस्त्वहं मातः त्वत्कृपा मयि विद्यते ।
यावत्सम्पूर्णकामः स्यां तावद्देहि दयानिधे ॥ ७३ ॥
O Mother, I exist only by your will.
Everything I have comes from the nectar of your grace.
I don't seek crumbs—I yearn to be fulfilled completely.
Until every noble desire in me blossoms, pour your kindness without restraint.
You are the ocean of mercy—let your waves rise till I overflow with contentment.
क्षणमात्रं न शक्नोमि जीवितुं त्वत्कृपां विना ।
न हि जीवन्ति जलजा जलं त्यक्त्वा जलाश्रयाः ॥ ७४ ॥
I can't survive even a moment without your compassion.
Like a lotus withers away when separated from water, I too fade without your grace.
Your kindness is not luxury—it is the breath that keeps me alive.
If you withdraw, my spirit cracks like a pond under drought.
So stay near, O Mother, for I live only through your glance.
यथा हि पुत्रवात्सल्यात् जननी प्रस्नुतस्तनी ।
वत्सं त्वरितमागत्य सम्प्रीणयति वत्सला ॥ ७५ ॥
Just like a mother, overflowing with love and milk,
rushes instantly to comfort her crying child,
you too, O Mahalakshmi, must respond when your devotee calls.
A true mother doesn't wait to be asked—she feels the pain before it's spoken.
Let your motherly grace flow to me without delay.
I am your child—hungry for your presence, thirsty for your compassion.
यदि स्यां तव पुत्रोऽहं माता त्वं यदि मामकी ।
दयापयोधर-स्तन्य-सुधाभिरभिषिञ्च माम् ॥ ७६ ॥
If I am truly your child, then mother, treat me as your own.
Let your compassion flow like milk from a mother’s breast.
Drench me in the nectar of your mercy.
I stand before you — helpless, hungry, and yours alone.
Only your grace can fill this aching void in my soul.
मृग्यो न गुणलेशोऽपि मयि दोषैक-मन्दिरे ।
पांसूनां वृष्टिबिन्दूनां दोषाणां च न मे मतिः ॥ ७७ ॥
Not a trace of virtue can be found in me.
I am a mansion where only faults reside.
I cannot even count my sins — they fall like raindrops and dust, beyond reckoning.
Still, O Devi, I dare to call you — because even filth dares not fear the rain that washes.
पापिनामहमेकाग्रो दयालूनां त्वमग्रणीः ।
दयनीयो मदन्योऽस्ति तव कोऽत्र जगत्त्रये ॥ ७८ ॥
Among sinners, I stand alone — the most fallen, the most stained.
Among the merciful, you stand supreme — the fountainhead of compassion.
Tell me, O Devi, who else in all three worlds deserves your mercy more than me?
The weight of my sins is the very reason I cling to your feet — because only you can bear it.
विधिनाहं न सृष्टश्चेत् न स्यात्तव दयालुता ।
आमयो वा न सृष्टश्चेदौषधस्य वृथोदयः ॥ ७९ ॥
If I, the flawed and fallen, were not created by Brahma, what need would there be for your boundless mercy?
If there were no illness, O Devi, what purpose would a divine medicine serve?
My very existence justifies your compassion — I am the reason your mercy blooms.
Like disease proves the need for cure, my sins prove the glory of your grace.
कृपा मदग्रजा किं ते अहं किं वा तदग्रजः ।
विचार्य देहि मे वित्तं तव देवि दयानिधे ॥ ८० ॥
O Devi, is your compassion born before me? Or am I the reason your mercy had to arise?
Who came first — the needy or the nourisher?
No matter the sequence, think it through and bless me with your wealth.
You are the treasure-house of grace — let your heart decide, not my worth.
माता पिता त्वं गुरुः सद्गतिः श्रीः
त्वमेव सञ्जीवनहेतुभूता ।
अन्यं न मन्ये जगदेकनाथे
त्वमेव सर्वं मम देवि सत्यम् ॥ ८१ ॥
You are my mother — nurturing without condition.
You are my father — the strength behind every step.
You are my Guru — the light when I wander in dark.
You are my Lakshmi — the wealth of my soul.
You alone keep me alive — not food, not breath, but your grace.
In this whole world, I seek none else.
O Devi, you are truly everything to me. That is my truth.

ॐ-घ्रां-घ्रीं-घ्रूं-घ्रें-घ्रों-घ्रः-हुं फट् कुरु कुरु स्वाहा ॥
Divine Seed Syllables of the Heart (Hrudaya Bija)
This mantra is no ordinary chant — it is a secret key to awaken Sri Mahalakshmi’s heart-energy within your own. Each syllable here is a coded pulse — vibrating with the essence of Shri, the supreme auspiciousness.
This is a bija mantra garland — not to be chanted casually. Each seed-syllable is a flash of divine intent. To chant this is to knock on the door of Lakshmi’s innermost chamber, to ask her not for wealth alone, but for presence, for residency, for unwavering grace in your heart.
Let it not just pass from your tongue. Let it strike the soul.
Let her rise from within.
आद्यादिलक्ष्मीर्भव सुप्रसन्ना विशुद्धविज्ञानसुखैकदोग्ध्रि ।
अज्ञानहन्त्री त्रिगुणातिरिक्ता प्रज्ञाननेत्री भव सुप्रसन्ना ॥ ८२ ॥
Be pleased, O First-born Lakshmi —
You nourish with pure bliss born of clear wisdom.
You destroy ignorance like fire melts ice.
You are beyond the grip of the three gunas.
You are the eye that awakens insight.
Shine upon me with your calm and kindness.
अशेषवाग्जाड्य-मलापहन्त्री नवं नवं सुष्टु सुवाक्यदायिनी ।
ममैव जिह्वाग्रसुरङ्गवर्तिनी भव प्रसन्ना वदने च मे श्रीः ॥ ८३ ॥
You destroy every block in speech — all dullness, all hesitation.
You give fresh, elegant, and sweet words like a bubbling spring.
Let your golden stream flow at the tip of my tongue.
Let Saraswati dance on my lips as you dwell in my speech.
समस्तसम्पत्सु विराजमाना समस्ततेजस्सु विभासमाना ।
विष्णुप्रिये त्वं भव दीप्यमाना वाग्देवता मे नयने प्रसन्ना ॥ ८४ ॥
You dwell among all forms of wealth — not just gold, but light, joy, and courage.
You sparkle through all strengths and energies.
You, beloved of Vishnu, shine like a flame.
Let your divine speech beam through my eyes. Let it brighten my gaze.
सर्वप्रदर्शे सकलार्थदे त्वं प्रभासुलावण्यदयाप्रदोग्ध्रि ।
सुवर्णदे त्वं सुमुखी भव श्रीर्हिरण्मयी मे नयने प्रसन्ना ॥ ८५ ॥
In every act of vision, you are the light that reveals.
You grant all meanings, all treasures, all truths.
You are the source of beauty, grace, and compassion.
Be the golden face I behold always — the golden glow in my eyes.
सर्वार्थदा सर्वजगत्प्रसूतिः सर्वेश्वरी सर्वभयापहन्त्री ।
सर्वोन्नता त्वं सुमुखी च नः श्रीर्हिरण्मयी मे भव सुप्रसन्ना ॥ ८६ ॥
You are the giver of every kind of wealth — material, emotional, spiritual.
You are the cosmic womb, birthing this entire world.
You are the sovereign queen who removes all fear.
You are the highest, unmatched, and ever-smiling radiance.
O golden Lakshmi! Smile upon me. Stand before me, gracious and luminous.
समस्तविघ्नौघविनाशकारिणी समस्तभक्तोद्धरणे विचक्षणा ।
अनन्तसम्मोदसुखप्रदायिनी हिरण्मयी मे नयने प्रसन्ना ॥ ८७ ॥
You destroy floods of obstacles without a trace.
You rescue every earnest devotee with sharp, sure hands.
You are the fountain of eternal bliss, pouring joy like nectar.
Let those golden eyes of yours shine in mine, O Lakshmi — the expert in compassion.
देवि प्रसीद दयनीयतमाय मह्यं
देवाधिनाथभवदेवगणाभिवन्द्ये ।
मातस्तथैव भव सन्निहिता दृशोर्मे
पत्या समं मम मुखे भव सुप्रसन्ना ॥ ८८ ॥
O Devi! I am the most helpless of the helpless — shower your kindness on me.
You are worshipped even by Shiva, Vishnu, Brahma, and the gods themselves.
Be present before my eyes like a divine mother.
May your smiling face stand beside my beloved's — in front of me, forever shining.
मा वत्स भैरभयदानकरोऽर्पितस्ते
मौलौ ममेति मयि दीनदयानुकम्पे ।
मातः समर्पय मुदा करुणाकटाक्षं
माङ्गल्यबीजमिह नः सृज जन्म मातः ॥ ८९ ॥
Say to me — ‘Don’t fear, my child’, and place your fearless hand on my head.
Let your mercy speak — not with words, but with touch.
Drop one glance of compassion, and let that glance be my rebirth.
Create in me the seed of all auspiciousness — as only a mother can.
कटाक्ष इह कामधुक् तव मनस्तु चिन्तामणिः
करः सुरतरुः सदा नवनिधिस्त्वमेवेन्दिरे ।
भवेत्तव दयारसो मम रसायनं चान्वहं
मुखं तव कलानिधिर्विविधवाञ्छितार्थप्रदम् ॥ ९० ॥
Your glance is a wish-fulfilling cow. Your mind is a jewel of thoughts.
Your hand is a celestial tree. Your form holds every treasure.
Let the rasa of your kindness be my daily elixir.
Let your face — source of endless beauty — grant every heart’s longing.
यथा रसस्पर्शनतोऽयसोऽपि सुवर्णता स्यात्कमले तथा ते ।
कटाक्षसंस्पर्शनतो जनानाममङ्गलानामपि मङ्गलत्वम् ॥ ९१ ॥
Just like iron turns golden when touched by alchemical mercury,
so too do the most unfortunate lives shine when your glance falls on them.
O Kamala, even misfortune becomes auspiciousness at your touch.
This is not poetry. It is your nature.
देहीति नास्तीति वचः प्रवेशाद् भीतो रमे त्वां शरणं प्रपद्ये ।
अतः सदास्मिन्नभयप्रदा त्वं सहैव पत्या मयि सन्निधेहि ॥ ९२ ॥
I tremble at the thought of hearing ‘no’ when I ask.
So I take full refuge in you, O Ramā, without delay.
Let your presence always stay beside me — with Vishnu at your side.
Let fearlessness enter my home as your footprint.
कल्पद्रुमेण मणिना सहिता सुरम्या
श्रीस्ते कला मयि रसेन रसायनेन ।
आस्तामतो मम च दृक्करपाणिपाद-
स्पृष्ट्याः सुवर्णवपुषः स्थिरजङ्गमाः स्युः ॥ ९३ ॥
Let your splendour — like the wish-giving tree and the divine gem — dwell in me.
Let your rasa become the elixir that saturates my being.
Whatever I see, touch, or walk upon — let it turn golden.
Let even lifeless things around me glow with divine Lakshmi-touch.
आद्यादिविष्णोः स्थिरधर्मपत्नी त्वमेव पत्या मम सन्निधेहि ।
आद्यादिलक्ष्मि त्वदनुग्रहेण पदे पदे मे निधिदर्शनं स्यात् ॥ ९४ ॥
You are the eternal consort of the eternal Vishnu.
Be likewise ever near me, as my divine companion.
With your grace, may treasure reveal itself at every step.
Let every movement in life carry your touch, your presence.
आद्यादिलक्ष्मीहृदयं पठेद्यः स राज्यलक्ष्मीमचलां तनोति ।
महादरिद्रोऽपि भवेद्धनाढयः तदन्वये श्रीः स्थिरतां प्रयाति ॥ ९५ ॥
Whoever recites this hymn from the heart invites royal wealth.
Even one sunk in deep poverty becomes blessed with riches.
Lakshmi becomes stable in such a house, unshaken.
This is not mere belief — it is the promise of Shastra.
यस्य स्मरणमात्रेण तुष्टा स्याद्विष्णुवल्लभा ।
तस्याभीष्टं ददत्याशु तं पालयति पुत्रवत् ॥ ९६ ॥
Just remembering her makes Lakshmi pleased.
She grants his desires instantly.
She protects him like a loving mother shields her child.
No need for elaborate rites — just true remembrance.
इदं रहस्यं हृदयं सर्वकामफलप्रदम् ।
जपः पञ्चसहस्रं तु पुरश्चरणमुच्यते ॥ ९७ ॥
This is the secret heart of Lakshmi — the Shri Hrudaya.
It fulfils all desires, silently and fully.
Chant it five thousand times for full initiation.
That is the purashcharana — the sacred beginning.
त्रिकालमेककालं वा नरो भक्तिसमन्वितः ।
यः पठेत् शृणुयाद्वापि स याति परमां श्रियम् ॥ ९८ ॥
Recite it three times a day, or even once.
If not recite, just hear it with devotion.
That’s enough to reach the highest form of Lakshmi’s grace.
True wealth walks to him — not the other way around.
महालक्ष्मीं समुद्दिश्य निशि भार्गववासरे ।
इदं श्रीहृदयं जप्त्वा पञ्चवारं धनी भवेत् ॥ ९९ ॥
Chant this five times on a Friday night.
Invoke Mahalakshmi with clear intent.
Even one who is empty-handed will gain prosperity.
Not by magic — by alignment with her rhythm.
अनेन हृदयेनान्नं गर्भिण्या अभिमन्त्रितम् ।
ददाति तत्कुले पुत्रो जायते श्रीपतिः स्वयम् ॥ १०० ॥
Consecrate food with this mantra and offer it to a pregnant woman.
A son will be born in that family with Vishnu’s brilliance.
Not just a child — but a torchbearer of divine fortune.
Lakshmi’s power imprints even the womb with grace.
नरेणाप्यथवा नार्या लक्ष्मीहृदयमन्त्रिते ।
जले पीते च तद्वंशे मन्दभाग्यो न जायते ॥ १०१ ॥
Even if a man or woman simply drinks water empowered by this Lakshmi Hridaya mantra, their descendants will never be born unfortunate. The very seed of misfortune is burned away — lineage is purified by the nectar of mantra-charged water.
य आश्वयुङ्मासि च शुक्लपक्षे रमोत्सवे सन्निहिते च भक्त्या ।
पठेत्तथैकोत्तरवारवृद्ध्या लभेत्स सौवर्णमयीं सुवृष्टिम् ॥ १०२ ॥
One who recites this during the Sharad season's waxing fortnight, near Deepavali, with devotion increasing day by day — shall receive a golden shower of prosperity. Just like rain nourishes crops, this stotra rains gold upon the heart that grows in bhakti.
य एकभक्त्याऽन्वहमेकवर्षं विशुद्धधीः सप्ततिवारजापी ।
स मन्दभाग्योऽपि रमाकटाक्षात् भवेत्सहस्राक्षशताधिकश्रीः ॥ १०३ ॥
Even if someone is born under unfortunate stars — if they chant this purely, with single-pointed devotion, every day for a year (at least seventy times each day), the grace of Lakshmi will crown them with splendour surpassing even the glory of Indra.
श्रीशांघ्रिभक्तिं हरिदासदास्यं प्रपन्नमन्त्रार्थदृढैकनिष्ठाम् ।
गुरोः स्मृतिं निर्मलबोधबुद्धिं प्रदेहि मातः परमं पदं श्रीः ॥ १०४ ॥
O Mother! Grant me love for the feet of Lakshmi, servitude to the servants of Hari, unwavering devotion to the essence of these mantras, remembrance of my Guru, a crystal-clear understanding of truth — and lead me to that highest abode of eternal Shri.
पृथ्वीपतित्वं पुरुषोत्तमत्वं विभूतिवासं विविधार्थसिद्धिम् ।
सम्पूर्णकीर्तिं बहुवर्षभोगं प्रदेहि मे देवि पुनःपुनस्त्वम् ॥ १०५ ॥
Grant me sovereignty, nobility, divine wealth, and the fulfilment of many goals. O Devi, make my name resound across lands. Let me enjoy long-lasting prosperity, lifetime after lifetime. I seek not crumbs — I seek the full grandeur of your favor.
वादार्थसिद्धिं बहुलोकवश्यं वयःस्थिरत्वं ललनासु भोगम् ।
पौत्रादिलब्धिं सकलार्थसिद्धिं प्रदेहि मे भार्गवि जन्मजन्मनि ॥ १०६ ॥
Give me sharpness in debate, command over people, youthfulness that lasts, the joys of beauty and family life, children and grandchildren, and total success in every field. O Bhargavi! May this not be a one-time boon, but a gift in every birth.
सुवर्णवृद्धिं कुरु मे गृहे श्रीः
विभूतिवृद्धिं कुरू मे गृहे श्रीः ।
कल्याणवृद्धिं कुरु मे गृहे श्रीः
विभूतिवृद्धिं कुरु मे गृहे श्रीः ॥ १०७ ॥
Increase gold in my home, O Shri.
Increase divine fortune in my home, O Shri.
Increase all auspiciousness in my home, O Shri.
Again, let all excellence multiply in my home, O Shri.
This is a heart’s cry repeated — not once but twice — for Lakshmi to never stop flowing through the home like a perennial sacred river.
शिरो बीजम्
ॐ-यं-हं-कं-लं-वं-श्रीं ॥
This is the Shiro Beeja — the seed-syllables to be meditated upon at the crown. It activates the mind to receive Lakshmi's full presence.
Each syllable here has powerful symbolic significance, especially in the context of Lakshmi sadhana. This is the Shiro Beejam, or the head-seed mantra, meaning it governs the central controlling faculty — just like the head controls the whole body, this beeja governs the success of the entire stotra.
This mantra is a power-pack of five tattvas (elements), one deity-seed (shreem), and the universal base (om) — activating body, speech, mind, and consciousness to become worthy of Lakshmi's presence. It doesn't just call her; it aligns you to be able to hold her.
Use it before reciting the verses or while meditating on her form. It clears blockages in the subtle body and invites her whole presence — not just a flicker.
The bīja mantras in Lakshmi Hridayam are the energetic backbone of the whole text. They are not ornamental syllables; they are the engine that powers the stotra. Their significance can be understood in three layers:
The bījas in Lakshmi Hridayam are the codes of alignment. They don’t just call Lakshmi — they transform the devotee into someone Lakshmi chooses to stay with.
ध्यायेल्लक्ष्मीं प्रहसितमुखीं कोटिबालार्कभासां
विद्युद्वर्णाम्बरवरधरां भूषणाढ्यां सुशोभाम् ।
बीजापूरं सरसिजयुगं बिभ्रतीं स्वर्णपात्रं
भर्त्रायुक्तां मुहुरभयदां मह्यमप्यच्युतश्रीः ॥ १०८ ॥
One should meditate on Lakshmi with a smiling face, shining brighter than a crore suns. She wears lightning-colored garments, dazzles in jewels, and holds pomegranates and twin lotuses in golden vessels. Ever by her consort’s side, she constantly offers fearless grace.
Let even I, the lowliest, receive the touch of this unshakable Achyuta Shri.
Lakshmi Hridayam should always be chanted along with Narayana Hridayam.
हरिः ॐ ।
अस्य श्रीनारायणहृदयस्तोत्रमहामन्त्रस्य भार्गव ऋषिः, (ब्रह्मा ऋषिः)
अनुष्टुप्छन्दः, लक्ष्मीनारायणो देवता, नारायणप्रीत्यर्थे जपे विनियोगः ॥

The meter is Anushtup.
The presiding deities are Lakshmi-Narayana.
The purpose of the japa is pleasing Bhagavan Narayana.
॥ करन्यासः ॥
नारायणः परं ज्योतिरिति अङ्गुष्ठाभ्यां नमः।
Touch the thumbs.
Narayana is the Supreme Light.
The glow of suns and moons is only a reflection of his radiance.
When you invoke him here, your actions shine with his brilliance.
नारायणः परं ब्रह्मेति तर्जनीभ्यां नमः।
Touch the index fingers.
Narayana is the Supreme Brahman.
He is the reality beyond time, beyond thought.
The finger that usually points outward now points to the infinite within.
नारायणः परो देव इति मध्यमाभ्यां नमः।
Touch the middle fingers.
Narayana is the Supreme Deva.
Above all gods and powers, he alone rules.
With this, you align yourself to the highest divinity.
नारायणः परं धामेति अनामिकाभ्यां नमः।
Touch the ring fingers.
Narayana is the Supreme Abode.
Every pilgrimage, every journey, every heart’s longing ends in him.
The ring finger — symbol of union — declares oneness with his eternal dwelling.
नारायणः परो धर्म इति कनिष्ठिकाभ्यां नमः।
Touch the little fingers.
Narayana is the Supreme Dharma.
Righteousness flows from him, is sustained by him, and returns to him.
Even the smallest act becomes sacred when it carries his imprint.
विश्वं नारायण इति करतलकरपृष्ठाभ्यां नमः।
Touch both palms — inside and outside.
The universe itself is Narayana.
Whatever you hold, whatever you release, whatever you give, whatever you take — all belongs to him.
Your hands now become his hands, fit only for divine service.
॥ अङ्गन्यासः ॥
नारायणः परं ज्योतिरिति हृदयाय नमः।
Touch the heart.
Narayana is the Supreme Light.
The heart becomes his lamp, glowing with inner radiance.
Devotion turns into living flame inside.
नारायणः परं ब्रह्मेति शिरसे स्वाहा।
Touch the head.
Narayana is the Supreme Brahman.
Crown the mind with the thought of his infinity.
Now intellect bends in surrender to the limitless.
नारायणः परो देव इति शिखायै वौषट्।
Touch the crown-tuft.
Narayana is the Supreme Deva.
Above all gods, he alone shines.
This seals the head in divine protection.
नारायणः परं धामेति कवचाय हुम्।
Touch the chest and sides.
Narayana is the Supreme Abode.
His presence forms your armor.
No fear, no force, can pierce this shield.
नारायणः परो धर्म इति नेत्राभ्यां वौषट्।
Touch the eyes.
Narayana is the Supreme Dharma.
Vision itself turns sacred.
What you see, how you see — all aligned to truth.
विश्वं नारायण इति अस्त्राय फट्।
Gesture as if releasing a missile.
The universe itself is Narayana.
His power extends as weapon and protection.
Every direction is secured by his presence.
भूर्भुवस्सुवरोमिति दिग्बन्धः।
Chant the three worlds.
This ties all directions in Narayana’s light.
Wherever you stand, you are enclosed in his cosmic embrace.
The ritual space becomes his eternal field.
॥ अथ ध्यानम् ॥
उद्यदादित्यसङ्काशं पीतवासं चतुर्भुजम्।
शङ्खचक्रगदापाणिं ध्यायेल्लक्ष्मीपतिं हरिम्॥ १॥
Meditate on Hari, Lakshmipati.
He shines like the rising sun.
He wears yellow garments, the color of auspiciousness.

त्रैलोक्याधारचक्रं तदुपरि कमठं तत्र चानन्तभोगी।
तन्मध्ये भूमिपद्माङ्कुशशिखरदळं कर्णिकाभूतमेरुम्।
तत्रत्यं शान्तमूर्तिं मणिमयमकुटं कुण्डलोद्भासिताङ्गं।
लक्ष्मीनारायणाख्यं सरसिजनयनं सन्ततं चिन्तयामः॥ २॥
Visualize the cosmic seat of Narayana.
First, the great sustaining wheel, foundation of the three worlds.
Upon it rests the tortoise — symbol of steady support.
Above him coils Ananta, the endless serpent, spreading his hoods.
In the center blooms the lotus of the earth, with Mount Meru as its stalk.
There, seated in calm majesty, is Lakshmi-Narayana.
He wears a jewel-studded crown, his body glowing with earrings.
His eyes are like lotuses — full of compassion, depth, and grace.
Such a form, serene yet splendid, is to be meditated upon always.
ॐ नारायणः परं ज्योतिरात्मा नारायणः परः।
नारायणः परं ब्रह्म नारायण नमोऽस्तु ते॥ ३॥
Narayana is the Supreme Light, the essence of the soul.
He is the eternal Brahman, beyond all limits.
This mantra bows to him — the source of radiance, the core of being, the truth itself.
नारायणः परो देवो धाता नारायणः परः।
नारायणः परो धाता नारायण नमोऽस्तु ते॥ ४॥
Narayana is the Supreme Deva.
He is also Dhata — the creator, the sustainer, the establisher.
When the universe breathes, it breathes through him.
This verse surrenders to his divine role as origin and protector.
नारायणः परं धाम ध्यानं नारायणः परः।
नारायण परो धर्मो नारायण नमोऽस्तु ते॥ ५॥
Narayana is the Supreme Abode, the ultimate refuge.
Meditation itself culminates in him.
He is the root of Dharma, the eternal law.
This verse bows to him as shelter, path, and goal.
नारायणः परो देवो विद्या नारायणः परः।
विश्वं नारायणः साक्षान्नारायण नमोऽस्तु ते॥ ६॥
Narayana is the Supreme Deva, the highest divine.
True Vidya — knowledge that liberates — is Narayana himself.
The whole universe is Narayana in visible form.
This verse bows to him as the divine, the wisdom, and the world.
नारायणाद् विधिर्जातो जातो नारायणाद्भवः।
जातो नारायणादिन्द्रो नारायण नमोऽस्तु ते॥ ७॥
From Narayana arose Brahma, the creator.
From Narayana came Shiva, the dissolver.
From Narayana emerged Indra, the ruler of devas.
All origins trace back to him alone — this verse bows to that source.
रविर्नारायणस्तेजश्चन्द्रो नारायणो महः।
वह्निर्नारायणः साक्षान्नारायण नमोऽस्तु ते॥ ८॥
The sun is Narayana’s brilliance.
The moon is Narayana’s gentle radiance.
Fire itself is Narayana in manifest form.
Light in every shape is nothing but him — to that presence, salutations.
नारायण उपास्यः स्याद्गुरुर्नारायणः परः।
नारायणः परो बोधो नारायण नमोऽस्तु ते॥ ९॥
The deity worthy of worship is Narayana.
The supreme Guru is Narayana.
The highest knowledge and awakening too is Narayana.
This verse bows to him as object of worship, teacher, and truth.
नारायणः फलं मुख्यं सिद्धिर्नारायणः सुखम्।
हरिर्नारायणः शुद्धिर्नारायण नमोऽस्तु ते॥ १०॥
The highest fruit of life is Narayana.
The true success is reaching Narayana.
Real happiness is Narayana.
Purity itself is Hari-Narayana — to him, obeisance.
निगमावेदितानन्तकल्याणगुणवारिधे।
नारायण नमस्तेऽस्तु नरकार्णवतारक॥ ११॥
O Narayana, ocean of endless auspicious qualities praised by the Vedas.
You are the savior who lifts souls out of the ocean of hell.
To you, who alone rescues, I bow in devotion.
जन्ममृत्युजराव्याधिपारतन्त्र्यादिभिः सदा।
दोषैरस्पृष्टरूपाय नारायण नमोऽस्तु ते॥ १२॥
Birth, death, old age, disease, helplessness — these bind ordinary beings.
But Narayana is untouched by such defects.
To that flawless, ever-pure one, salutations.
वेदशास्त्रार्थविज्ञानसाध्यभक्त्येकगोचर।
नारायण नमस्तेऽस्तु मामुद्धर भवार्णवात्॥ १३॥
O Narayana, you are reached only through devotion grounded in knowledge of Vedas and Shastras.
I bow to you — lift me out of the ocean of samsara.
You alone are the refuge for the seeker.
नित्यानन्द महोदार परात्पर जगत्पते।
नारायण नमस्तेऽस्तु मोक्षसाम्राज्यदायिने॥ १४॥
O Narayana, eternal bliss, boundless generosity, Lord beyond all.
You are master of worlds and giver of moksha’s kingdom.
To you, who grants liberation, my salutations.
आब्रह्मस्थम्बपर्यन्तमखिलात्ममहाश्रय।
सर्वभूतात्मभूतात्मन् नारायण नमोऽस्तु ते॥ १५॥
From Brahma down to the tiniest blade of grass, you are the great shelter.
You are the soul of all beings, their innermost self.
O Narayana, I bow to you, the life of all lives.
पालिताशेषलोकाय पुण्यश्रवणकीर्तन।
नारायण नमस्तेऽस्तु प्रलयोदकशायिने॥ १६॥
Narayana, you protect all worlds without exception.
Hearing and chanting your name itself becomes merit.
At dissolution, you rest upon the cosmic waters.
To you, the eternal guardian, I bow.
निरस्तसर्वदोषाय भक्त्यादिगुणदायिने।
नारायण नमस्तेऽस्तु त्वां विना न हि मे गतिः॥ १७॥
Narayana, you are free from every defect.
You are the giver of devotion and all noble qualities.
There is no path, no refuge for me apart from you.
To you alone I surrender.
धर्मार्थकाममोक्षाख्यपुरुषार्थप्रदायिने।
नारायण नमस्तेऽस्तु पुनस्तेऽस्तु नमो नमः॥ १८॥
Dharma, Artha, Kama, Moksha — the four aims of life flow from you.
You grant each in proper measure to your devotees.
To you, Narayana, I bow again and again.
नारायण त्वमेवासि दहराख्ये हृदि स्थितः।
प्रेरिता प्रेर्यमाणानां त्वया प्रेरितमानसः॥ १९॥
O Narayana, you dwell in the tiny lotus-space of the heart.
You are the inspirer of all who act, the mover of every mind.
Every thought, every impulse is guided by you.
त्वदाज्ञां शिरसा कृत्वा भजामि जनपावनम्।
नानोपासनमार्गाणां भवकृद्भावबोधकः॥ २०॥
O purifier of mankind, I accept your command upon my head.
I worship you in surrender.
You are the creator of countless paths of worship,
and the revealer of their true spirit.
भावार्थकृद्भवातीतो भव सौख्यप्रदो मम।
त्वन्मायामोहितं विश्वं त्वयैव परिकल्पितम्॥ २१॥
O Narayana, you create the meanings of existence.
You are beyond samsara, yet you grant joy within it.
This world, deluded by your Maya, is imagined by you alone.
त्वदधिष्ठानमात्रेण सा वै सर्वार्थकारिणी।
त्वमेव तां पुरस्कृत्य मम कामान्समर्थय॥ २२॥
By your sanction alone, Maya acts and brings about all purposes.
You stand behind every movement of creation.
Grant my desires by placing that power at the forefront.
न मे त्वदन्यस्त्रातास्ति त्वदन्यन्न हि दैवतम्।
त्वदन्यं न हि जानामि पालकं पुण्यवर्धनम्॥ २३॥
I have no savior apart from you.
There is no deity for me besides you.
I know none else who protects and increases virtue.
You alone are my refuge.
यावत्सांसारिको भावो मनस्स्थो भावनात्मकः।
तावत्सिद्धिर्भवेत्साध्या सर्वदा सर्वदा विभो॥ २४॥
As long as worldly thoughts remain in the mind,
success will depend on their nature.
O Lord, let the mind always turn to you,
so that fulfillment is assured at all times.
पापिनामहमेकाग्रो दयालूनां त्वमग्रणीः।
दयनीयो मदन्योऽस्ति तव कोऽत्र जगत्त्रये॥ २५॥
I stand as one among sinners, yet fixed in seeking you.
You are foremost among the compassionate.
Who else in all the three worlds is more deserving of your mercy than me?
त्वयाहं नैव सृष्टश्चेन्न स्यात्तव दयालुता।
आमयो वा न सृष्टश्चेदौषधस्य वृथोदयः॥ २६॥
If you had not created me, O Narayana, your compassion would not shine.
If disease did not exist, what use would medicine be?
Thus, even in my weakness, your mercy finds its purpose.
पापसङ्गपरिश्रान्तः पापात्मा पापरूपधृक्।
त्वदन्यः कोऽत्र पापेभ्यस्त्रातास्ति जगतीतले॥ २७॥
Weary from sins, burdened by sinful identity, I fall at your feet.
Who else on this earth can rescue from sin except you?
You alone are the redeemer.
त्वमेव माता च पिता त्वमेव त्वमेव बन्धुश्च सखा त्वमेव।
त्वमेव विद्या द्रविणं त्वमेव त्वमेव सर्वं मम देव देव॥ २८॥
You are my mother, my father.
You are my kin, my friend.
You are my knowledge, my wealth.
You are everything to me, O Lord of Lords.
प्रार्थनादशकं चैव मूलाष्टकमतःपरम्।
यः पठेच्छृणुयान्नित्यं तस्य लक्ष्मीः स्थिरा भवेत्॥ २९॥
Whoever daily recites or listens to these ten prayers, along with the Mulashtaka,
for such a person, Lakshmi will remain steadfast.
Wealth and fortune stay firm through devotion.
नारायणस्य हृदयं सर्वाभीष्टफलप्रदम्।
लक्ष्मीहृदयकं स्तोत्रं यदि चैतद्विनाकृतम्॥ ३०॥
This Narayana Hridaya grants all desired fruits.
But if one recites Lakshmi Hridaya without this,
its power remains incomplete.
The two hearts — of Lakshmi and Narayana — are inseparable.
तत्सर्वं निष्फलं प्रोक्तं लक्ष्मीः क्रुध्यति सर्वदा।
एतत्सङ्कलितं स्तोत्रं सर्वाभीष्टफलप्रदम्॥ ३१॥
Without Narayana Hridaya, all other recitations are said to be fruitless.
Lakshmi becomes displeased when this union is broken.
But when combined, this hymn grants every desired blessing.
जपेत्सङ्कलितं कृत्वा सर्वाभीष्टमवाप्नुयात्।
नारायणस्य हृदयं आदौ जप्त्वा ततःपरम्॥ ३२॥
One should recite both hymns together.
Begin with Narayana Hridaya.
This practice fulfills all wishes, both worldly and spiritual.
लक्ष्मीहृदयकं स्तोत्रं जपेन्नारायणं पुनः।
पुनर्नारायणं जप्त्वा पुनर्लक्ष्मीनुतिं जपेत्॥ ३३॥
After Narayana Hridaya, recite Lakshmi Hridaya.
Then again return to Narayana,
and once more to Lakshmi.
This alternating recitation pleases both and brings harmony.
तद्वद्धोमादिकं कुर्यादेतत्सङ्कलितं शुभम्।
एवंमध्ये द्विवारेण जपेत्सङ्कलितं शुभम्॥ ३४॥
In the same manner, homa and other rituals must be done.
They should include both hymns together.
During the process, repeat this combined recitation twice.
Such practice is auspicious and complete.
लक्ष्मीहृदयके स्तोत्रे सर्वमन्यत्प्रकाशितम्।
सर्वान्कामानवाप्नोति आधिव्याधिभयं हरेत्॥ ३५॥
Within the Lakshmi Hridaya, all details are already revealed.
Through it, every desire is fulfilled.
It removes fear of diseases and sufferings.
Blessings flow in abundance.
गोप्यमेतत्सदा कुर्यात्नसर्वत्र प्रकाशयेत्।
इति गुह्यतमं शास्त्रं प्रोक्तं ब्रह्मादिभिः पुरा॥ ३६॥
This teaching must be kept secret, not spread everywhere.
It is the most hidden and sacred scripture, revealed long ago by Brahma and other devas.
It carries the weight of divine confidentiality.
लक्ष्मीहृदयप्रोक्तेन विधिना साधयेत्सुधीः।
तस्मात्सर्वप्रयत्नेन साधयेद्गोपयेत्सुधीः॥ ३७॥
The wise should practice this exactly as directed in Lakshmi Hridaya.
They must apply effort with care and also maintain secrecy.
Both practice and protection keep its power alive.
यत्रैतत्पुस्तकं तिष्ठेत्लक्ष्मीनारायणात्मकम्।
भूतपैशाचवेताळभयं नैव तु सर्वदा॥ ३८॥
Wherever this sacred book of Lakshmi-Narayana resides,
there is no fear from ghosts, spirits, or negative forces.
Its presence itself forms a protective shield.
भृगुवारे तथा रात्रौ पूजयेत्पुस्तकद्वयम्।
सर्वदा सर्वदा स्तुत्यं गोपयेत्साधयेत्सुधीः।
गोपनात्साधनाल्लोके धन्यो भवति तत्त्वतः॥ ३९॥
On Fridays, especially at night, one should worship both scriptures together.
The wise should always revere, practice, and guard them.
Through secrecy and discipline, one becomes truly blessed in this world.
