There was an artist.

He used paint portraits and make a living out of it.

He lived in a small town with his elderly mother, wife and two children.

They were not rich, barely managed to make ends meet with whatever little money he earned.

One night, he heard cries from the neighbour’s house.

The breadwinner was the family was gone.

The artist’s wife started working as a maid.

The newspaper ran a campaign and collected donations to help the family.

A good amount was collected.

With that money, the officials of the newspaper went to the artist’s family.

They said: we have collected this money for you and want to give it to you.
