A Rishi is a male to whom a mantra has been revealed. A Rishika is a female to whom a mantra has been revealed. All Rishikas are Brahmavadinis, but not all Brahmavadinis must be Rishikas.

To maintain any relationship; be it parent-child, neighbour-neighbour, employer-employee, husband-wife, constant effort is needed.

Constant pampering is needed.

Pampering not in the sense of excess.

But caring, gestures of attention.

This is needed constantly.

That is how you keep any relationship active and lively.

It is not that you married love and affinity will naturally come into that relationship.

There has to be thoughtful action and effort to keep the relationship lively.

You may be married for 25 or 30 years.

But your spouse still needs to be given a gift on the birthday, the anniversary still needs to be celebrated.

Otherwise you are just two stones co existing under the same roof.

The relationship will become as dry as that.

Then anger, disappointment, frustration all these will raise their heads.

Even an employee, you may be meeting your obligations in terms of salary, increments, incentives; but if that personal touch is missing, then there will not be any loyalty.

You should enquire about the welfare of the family, attend their functions such as wedding.

Vice versa also you can always venture to give a personal touch to your relationship with your boss.

Meeting Contractual obligations is not enough.

Otherwise the relationship will soon become dry.

This should be an everyday awareness and effort.

What happens to your hair, if you don't take care of it everyday.

Of course you have given it the highest place, on top of your head.

But if you don't take care of it everyday, by pampering it, combing it, applying oil, gel or whatever, washing it, shampooing it.

These are all constant ongoing efforts.

If you don't do that then soon the hair will become matted, like jata it will become.
