The Loving Gift

The Loving Gift

Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a kind boy named Aarav. Aarav loved his parents very much, but sometimes he forgot to show it. His parents, Meera and Ravi, worked hard every day to take care of him. They always made sure Aarav had tasty food, warm clothes, and lots of love.

One day, Aarav’s teacher, Priya, told the class a story about how parents are like trees. 'Parents give us shade and protect us from the heat. They give us fruits and fresh air, but they never ask for anything in return,' she said. Aarav listened carefully and began to think about all the things his parents did for him.

That evening, Aarav noticed his mother washing clothes. Her hands looked tired. Then he saw his father fixing a broken chair. Aarav felt sad because he had never thanked them for their hard work. He decided to do something special to show his love.

The next morning, Aarav woke up early. He cleaned his room, helped his mother in the kitchen, and even watered the plants. When his father sat down to rest, Aarav brought him a glass of cool water. Meera and Ravi were surprised and happy. 'What is all this, Aarav?' his mother asked.

Aarav smiled and said, 'You both do so much for me every day. I want to help and show how much I love you!'

Meera hugged him tightly, and Ravi patted his head. 'You are the best gift we could ever have,' they said.

From that day on, Aarav made sure to help his parents whenever he could. He learned that love is not just in words but also in actions. His parents felt proud, and their bond grew stronger.

And so, Aarav and his parents lived happily, teaching others in the village the importance of loving and caring for their parents.
