Unlike some gods who require years of penance and rigorous rituals to be pleased, Devi, the Divine Mother, is compassionate and swift in her grace. When her devotees sincerely bow before her and offer praise, she does not delay in responding. Many gods demand long and intense tapasya (penance) to grant boons or relieve one from difficulties. Some gods may even test their devotees before offering their blessings. But Devi is different. She responds to the pure devotion of her worshippers without hesitation. The moment one calls upon her with true faith, she removes their troubles instantly. Her nature is nurturing and merciful, always ready to protect and guide her devotees. For those who are humble and sincere in their prayers, she does not wait or make them endure more suffering. She wipes away their obstacles, just like a mother rushing to comfort her child in distress.

In Kaliyuga, the capacity to endure suffering, patience, and tolerance are greatly diminished. People of Kaliyuga face constant challenges, both physical and mental, and often lack the inner strength to bear long periods of hardship. Devi's worship becomes especially important during this time because she offers immediate relief to her devotees. Devi responds quickly to sincere prayers. Her grace helps those in Kaliyuga navigate life's difficulties with greater ease. Her compassion and swift action provide a much-needed refuge, offering hope and protection in these troubled times.
