आशानामाशापालेभ्यश्चतुर्भ्यो अमृतेभ्यः ।
इदं भूतस्याध्यक्षेभ्यो विधेम हविषा वयम् ॥१॥
य आशानामाशापालाश्चत्वार स्थन देवाः ।
ते नो निर्ऋत्याः पाशेभ्यो मुञ्चतांहसोअंहसः ॥२॥
अस्रामस्त्वा हविषा यजाम्यश्लोणस्त्वा घृतेन जुहोमि ।
य आशानामाशापालस्तुरीयो देवः स नः सुभूतमेह वक्षत्॥३॥
स्वस्ति मात्र उत पित्रे नो अस्तु स्वस्ति गोभ्यो जगते पुरुषेभ्यः ।
विश्वं सुभूतं सुविदत्रं नो अस्तु ज्योगेव दृशेम सूर्यम् ॥४॥

Meaning:

आशानामाशापालेभ्यश्चतुर्भ्यो अमृतेभ्यः
इदं भूतस्याध्यक्षेभ्यो विधेम हविषा वयम् ॥१॥

'To the four guardians of the directions and the immortal beings, we offer this oblation with reverence. They are the overseers of all living beings.'

य आशानामाशापालाश्चत्वार स्थन देवाः
ते नो निर्ऋत्याः पाशेभ्यो मुञ्चतांहसोअंहसः ॥२॥

'The four divine protectors of the four directions, may they release us from the bonds of sin and darkness caused by the evil forces.'

अस्रामस्त्वा हविषा यजाम्यश्लोणस्त्वा घृतेन जुहोमि
य आशानामाशापालस्तुरीयो देवः स नः सुभूतमेह वक्षत् ॥३॥

'I offer you this oblation with devotion, and I pour clarified butter in your honor. May the fourth divine protector of directions bestow upon us all prosperity and well-being here.'

स्वस्ति मात्र उत पित्रे नो अस्तु स्वस्ति गोभ्यो जगते पुरुषेभ्यः
विश्वं सुभूतं सुविदत्रं नो अस्तु ज्योगेव दृशेम सूर्यम् ॥४॥

'May there be well-being for our mother and father, for the cattle, and for all living beings. May the whole world be blessed with prosperity and good fortune. May we always behold the sun, the source of life, with our eyes open.'
