Haihaya dynasty

The Haihaya dynasty was one of the Kshatriya lineages that came from the Yadu clan. Kartavirya Arjuna, the powerful king who once defeated Ravana, belonged to this Haihaya dynasty. But Kartavirya Arjuna committed a terrible act — he killed the sage Jamadagni. In response to this, Jamadagni’s son, Parashurama, became extremely angry. To take revenge, Parashurama destroyed the Kshatriya rulers 21 times.
