Which are the sixteen adharas in the body?

The concept of the sixteen adharas has been elaborated in the book Siddha Siddhanta Paddhati of Guru Gorakhnath. They are special centers in the body focusing upon which confers immense benefit in yogic practice. They are: the tip of the thumb of the foot, muladhara, anus, base of the penis, between the penis and navel, nabhi or navel, middle of the chest, throat, uvula, palate, tongue, middle of eyebrows, the tip of the nose, the root of the nose, forehead, and brahma-randhra.

Creation of Death

At the time of creation, Brahama had not imagined that the world would soon overcowd with living beings. When he saw the condition of the world, Brahma got worried and sent Agni to burn everything down. Lord Shiva intervened and suggested a systematic way to keep population under control. That's when Brahma created death and Mrityu Devata to carry it out. Death is a mystery and coping with the death of a near and dear one is a challenge. Knowing that even the gods had to find solutions for overpopulation and death can make death less daunting and more understandable.
